(The Corsino Crime Family)

A family long forgotten in the streets of Liberty City, but the family makes a triumphant return to their American empire. The Corsino Crime Family are a Sicilian Mafia Family with a power to bring fear to those who oppose them. They are also known as "The First Family" because their history goes back to the year 1910 when they first were established. The Corsino Crime Family was the most successful, cunning, and most respected family back in the '20s and '30s, and soon they will once again regain their reputation as "La Famiglia di Sangue". (The Blood Family)

Origins
1897-1910

The man responsible for starting such an organization is Fabrizio Corsino. He was born on the 5th of May in the year 1879 in Trapani, Sicily to a wealthy family well known in Trapani. Fabrizio's father was a lawyer with aspirations of seeing his kids succeed in the future, his mother was a teacher well respected in their city, his brothers and sisters were all well mannered, educated, and with a very bright future although Fabrizio didn't inherit the love for education from his parents. Fabrizio was more of a rebellious child, he disrespected his parents, he caused damage to many properties in Trapani, then it was only a matter of time that he became a criminal as a teenager. His parent's kicked him out from their estate and Fabrizio never looked back, he marched to the slums of Trapani where people already knew him as the ruthless young man who fought anybody who angered him.

When Fabrizio was eighteen years old, he started a gang known as the "Scarti della Societa" (Rejects of Society), his gang was a group of angry teenagers from the slums. They were hated by many because of their actions, until there was a police officer who wanted to stop the gang, it came to a point that they show others they are a dangerous gang by starting murdering people. Fabrizio had no problem with murdering people for he has done it before, when he found out that there was a police officer who was investigating their actions he gathered the gang around and told them the officer had to die and that killing him will give them notoriety. After announcing their next move, the gang had a bad feeling and chose to not do it. Of course Fabrizio didn't care he went on alone to the location where the officer was watching them, luckily for Fabrizio but really bad for the officer he was there. After finally seeing each other they quickly engaged in combat, but Fabrizio had pulled out his knife and stabbed the officer in the neck causing him to die instantly. That murder was quickly announced in the local newspaper and Fabrizio's gang earned the name "La Famiglia Criminale Corsino" (The Corsino Crime Family), since the mafia was around at that time people assumed they were a mafia crime family, which inspired Fabrizio to keep the name and expand his family and soon become the most powerful family in Sicily.

Beginning of an Empire
1910-1938

In 1910, The Corsino Crime Family had been all over Sicily expanding their criminal empire by extortion, blackmailing, robbery, and murder. Their reputation was going up and people feared them and had no choice but to give in and either give them money or join. For years they have been spreading all across Italy doing what they did as a crime family. In the year 1914 there was a ship sending Italian's to America, Fabrizio saw this as an opportunity to really expand his empire. The day the ships were leaving Italy to America full of Italians, Fabrizio and half of his family were on the ship heading to the land of opportunity where they can really make it. Many of the Italian's on the ship had the American dream of becoming something out of themselves, but Fabrizio had another thing in mind. When the ship arrived, Fabrizio stepped foot on American ground and felt nothing but success. He made his way to an automobile dealership and brought four automobiles and made his way to Alderny where he heard that is where the Italian's took residence. He made it to Alderny and brought a big house for him and brought a couple of more house for the family, after realizing he was almost out of money he went to look if there was anything he can take over, that was when he found the import/export business where he made tons of money.

After being in the import/export business for so many years, it started to get sloppy and soon the business ended. In 1923 he started selling alcohol during Prohibition and literally made enough money to run ten Speakeasies and become the major alcohol supplier in Liberty City. He controlled everything, he controlled big businesses, casino's, and multiple Speakeasie's, he also had the police in his pocket which meant he could have easily got away with murder. But all that changed after a big conflict between the Corsino Crime Family and Santino Gragucci in 1933 towards the end of Prohibition. Fabrizio had a big competition with Sonny Gragucci, a well known Chicago bootlegger working for Henry Simpson, a big time gambler. This competition led to a war which took away everything Sonny had as well as Fabrizio. Fabrizio was murdering too much people the police couldn't be in his pocket anymore, he was losing his businesses, his men and his respect. Then one dark and humid day in Fabrizio's mansion in Westdyke, he was having a conversation with his sixteen year old son Salvatore telling him that if Fabrizio died because he was murdered, he must avenge him. Fabrizio's empire was coming down but he had enough power to end the war by kidnapping Sonny and torturing him for two weeks and drowned him in the ocean, he gained his empire back but it only lasted to 1938 when he died in a car accident in Palermo. Salvatore was left to run the family.

Corsino's Interlude
1938-1970

The Corsino's between 1938 and 1970 was the best time for the family because the mafia style had changed and Salvatore studied his father's action so he continued running the family in his father's honor. Salvatore was a very effective leader like his father accept he was more murderous than him which only made his empire bigger and his family stronger. Salvatore was fixing fights which was big money that time, he became a millionaire by 1957 and just gave a lot of money to Italian immigrants so they can live better. Salvatore was a big hothead and started a big war against the DiLeo Brothers, they were a crime organization involved in distribution of drugs in the 60s. Salvatore's jealousy got the best of him and caused to go on a rampage against the DiLeo Brother's, killing hundreds of people which put him under investigation by the FIB. Salvatore soon realized that things were getting real hot and that the killing has gone out of control, so he gathered a few men and money and flew to Italy and remained there until 1968. He heard in the news that the Dileo Brothers took over the Corsino Family's empire in Liberty City and that Salvatore was dead because Frank Dileo announced his death to the public, Salvatore was so furious after seeing the news and shot the Television and went to Liberty City along side with his son Leonardo. He wanted to teach his son what happens when you mess with the Corsino Family, he taught Leonardo how to shoot a gun and told him about the family business. Leonardo was slightly confused why his father was telling him how to run a family when he was only eighteen years old. Salvatore told him:

QUOTE You are close to the age of running this family. Your grandfather once told me that it's family tradition that the Don must pass the power to his son when he reaches twenty one years of age. Once you turn twenty one you will understand, study what I told you.

From 1968 to 1970 it was nothing but blood being spilled in the streets, so much murders happened, the Corsino's caused their image to change from controlled and organized to murdering and mad. Salvatore gave the family a nickname that stuck with them to this day, "Famiglia di Sangue" (Blood Family). This nickname meant the blood they spilled in those three years, the Corsino's won the war and took care of the Dileo Brothers like Fabrizio took care of Sonny Gragucci. Ever since that war victory, the Corsino's became organized once again. In 1970, Salvatore announced the new Don of the Corsino Crime Family, Leonardo Corsino. Salvatore was very proud of his son, he died in his sleep in 1972. The whole Family attended the funeral and named him the Blood Father.

Vice Times
1970-2001

Not much is there to be said about Leonardo only Leonardo became the first ever successful mob boss to gain over 250 million dollars in his reign. Leonardo never went to war because he was a man of reason, in the 70s, 80s, and 90s he has been a drug kingpin in Liberty City, San Andreas, Vice City, and Italy. Before in the 40s the main rule in La Cosa Nostra was not to get involved in the dope selling, but Leonardo changed that and became a multi-millionaire. He was having the time of his life, he was completely different than his father, his father was a murderous boss, Leonardo was an intelligent man who managed to be the most respected Corsino mob boss ever. Leonardo gave the power to his only son Mariano in 2001, the future of the Corsino Crime family. Leonardo died in an Italian hospital in 2008, leaving millions of dollars to Mariano.

(The Family in present day)

Triumphant Return
2001-present day

Ever since 2001, Mariano has been running the family with great power and responsibility. Mariano understands the original style the family was back in Fabrizio's time, so he has been trying to run the Family like Fabrizio did so his honor won't be forgotten. Mariano lives by "La Segreta" (The Secret) which is Fabrizio's way of Omerta but with more meaning. Mariano took the family to Italy in 2009 to make plans for the family to be the one and only first family. Now the Corsino Crime Family returns to America with one goal, become the family what it was before.

Capo Crimini (Don): Is a crime boss or boss of a criminal organization. Nice read. I wouldn't allow associates to join private meetings, make them work to get highly involved with your organzation. So long those inducted members and higher are active in crew/online.
Not seen any American-Italian or Sicilian based Organzations online, yet! Goodluck.

When I first saw the name of the topic I rolled my eyes and thought to myself, "Great. Another ungrateful person who angrily quit the mafia to go make their own!"

Obviously I was wrong there. When I opened the topic I was very surprised to see a nice introduction to your family; which was presented very nicely I might add. I don't find crime families like this very often. Good job on the post. Good luck on the family.

Thank you. We've been around for years. I know a lot about the Mafia Tradition and have the utmost respect for it. In other words, I know what I'm doing lol.
