Sorry, Greenrock is on sabbatical.

Now that V is to be released for new-gen consoles and pc do you think there will be more trailers which reveal new features not available on the last-gen version?

We've seen cats and other dog breeeds but will they reveal more.

I'm not asking if you think there will be more features. I am curious as to what you think r* might reveal about them if, perchance, they exist at all.

Thanks for your time.

I really don't know if they'll reveal those things or not, but I hope they give us a taste before release!

I feel NG/PC trailer would only show the breathtaking graphics upgrade, and the refinements introduced with execution in the best way possible technically, but nothing new, or significant, gameplay or content wise.
Oh! And lots of pant-wetting updates and news for those ONLINE!
So yeah, No expectations, for single player.
Otherwise, I won't be able to go back ever, knowing that things are again the same!

The Greenrock reference; I don't get it.

Anyway, the same thing is going to happen again. Some people are going to see something particular, and completely blow it out of proportion, thus over-hyping themselves, further thus being set up for disappointment- "omg that area has a few more lampposts than last gen: fully functional theme park with interactional shopping mall confirmed!!!"...

I don't believe they'll do a trailer specifically to show some of those details, like "GTA V CG, animal NPC differences", although they'll do what they've done with the reveal trailer and place them strategically to be found, commented, analyzed in order to keep the talk about the game going. Doesn't matter if people talk good or bad, what matters is that people talk and that is exactly what R* is doing and does all the time.

There will probably be a lauch trailer or one specifically detailing the difference between the old version and the new one and why should people buy it again, that's what Id do at the very least.

I think it depends on how much change Rockstar are putting into the game.

For instance, if they were opening the casino, adding heists, new pool table mini-games and things like that, then they'll definitely release a new trailer to promote the game changes. A trailer showing extensive new features would sell a great many copies in itself!

If it is just going to be new textures, graphics, traffic density, animals etc - then perhaps they won't bother with a new trailer.

But, from my perspective, Rockstar have never let me down - so I'm expecting some major changes and a new trailer, a month before release. :)

We will first get an announcement trailer announcing the announcement of the announcement trailer then we will get a delay, then there will be a cheers and a few weeks or so then an update or 10 with cars, planes and jets. Then they will hype the sh*t out of heists again like they always like to do every couple of months then they will say not a f*cking word about it again then we will get a new trailer.

And then only then after a couple more months we will get the game.

I'm hoping for something, it's a next gen version not a whole new game. Rockstar is doing what they do best and that's being quite.

With R* going off their usual marketing ploys for V (In terms of what they show, not when), I'm going to say not to rule out a new video that details what is new. It's definitely possible.

I hope we get a trailer showing some new online features... Like 'animals are now apparent in online' and 'traffic is now more dense', or even 'weather is now more dynamic like it was in single player' etc. I'm hoping we also get to see some new features like a character creation or something like that.

At the very least, I expect to see gameplay/trailer showing the differences between current gen and NC/PC online, because that's where the main focus would be. Unless they decide to add in single player content, which I doubt.

I'd imagine we'll get a trailer around when we get a release date, if not announcing it. A tech trailer like we got with the original release. then a launch trailer.

I'm starting to think I dreamt the e3 next gen announcement and it's all in my head.  Nothing announced since then helps to confirm my delusions.

Maybe it's all just a dream?

Maybe we're all in a comatose state?

Maybe we're just sleepwalking...

Dan Houser will reveal his penis in GTA V in 3d. It comes with special 3d glasses that will make it pop out of your screen so you can take it in your mouth. This is the new minigame.
No, but seriously... How am I supposed to know? You need to work at R* to say something sensible about this.

As a PC player and about online, I have to say this:

Screw online for now, I want to know about the SP game first... in fact I think they should do what they did with consoles and start online access after a week or two of game release, we should also have some time to try the game, play it and see how it is and then be able to login... although the main point of this would be so that everyone started at the same time with the same chance of acquiring experience but because of this transfer BS, not even the PC platform will start anew, we'll have to play with high ranked cheaters and glitchers that come from consoles... I could understand that consoles want to switch from consoles, they had the chance to play before and other then a few cases who have a new console now, played the game in the old ones... but PC is new so we shouldn't be included in this transfer bullcrap. It's not like we can play cross platform it's just a one time transfer...

So screw online news, I wanna know about the game enhancements as a whole, not online... I'm sick of online useless garbage news in the last months.

Well at this juncture, anything is absolutely plausible. :)

Next-Gen, or New-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V if I kindly may in my humble opinion, is currently construed as the lexicon that Rockstar has a mastery of. We have knowledge of only a smidgen of what the Excellencies are willingly to disclose. Rockstar is very crafty and is employing trickery, baiting our very eyes and rendering themselves scarce, as a slew of relentless and interrogative queries assault their tireless craniums.

While they have indeed supplied the public with the notable graphical / technical refinements via the Newswire, there are the unmentionables. Those 'array of details'. Therefore, to reiterate a previous sentiment in another thread, in the context of 'reveals', I would hope that a new trailer will entail the scope and depth of the aforementioned details and validate the bold optimism of Mr. Strauss Zelnick's foreshadowing of New-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V's success.

To that end, upon hearing Mr. Zelnick's words, that emboldens the chief reason as to why I am now elated for it! :D

This was an hard one... to understand. I feel that I need to learn English with the Queen of England to understand these texts.

Translation: The "Next Gen" GTA should be the master piece in which Rockstar will apply all their knowledge and capabilities. We only know about the graphical differences but most likely there are a lot more we don't know yet. And after reading what Zelnick said the expectation is even greater to know more about this game.

In a very synthesized way this was what you wrote, right?

Hello fellow PC player! I've been waiting for it to come to our platform for a while now. I've never really console gamed, but I finally decided GTA V in the past couple of weeks.

It took some while to adjust to console gaming. I'm trying not to act precious or anything, but I ended up smashing into a lot of stuff because - even though I was playing on a very large TV, I still couldn't see a lot of detail and crispness when driving. The fastness of the cars, jaggedness of the pixels and the general console gaming was very different for me. Needless to say, I was terribad at races. Never new this was a thing till now.

Anyway, I'd love for there to be single player content, but the bread and butter for GTA next gen is online content. Everyone's played the single player, or at the very least seen play throughs. We all know how it ends. I couldn't imagine there being a great focus on single player content when online provides a lot more replayability, and stands to have the most content added into that. We'll see though, I'm not going to act like my opinion is any better than yours, its just what I firmly believe. GTA V next gen isn't about being a new game, it's about enhancements. Whats the best way to show off those enhancements that to look at the differences between what little online has, and what it will have in NG. I'd imagine traffic, pedestrian density, etc. will be a big deal. "LOOK AT WHAT WE CAN DO NOW!"

It'll look better. Just like the last trailer.

Look, guys. Don't expect more than what we've been shown. I've seen cats and better graphics and more traffic density in that trailer and that's it. I will be buying it because I do want more ped density and animals, but I'm not going to expect Jesus to jump out of the screen and summon me to Playboy Mansion for a pot smoking party.

You'd be smart to do the same. Rockstar games is made up of men, not gods.
