When I boot up my Pc it loads up normally, apart from some screen artefacts, until it get past the windows is loading screen where my monitor just displays no signal. I am able to use to boot up in safe mode. I'm using windows 7 an my graphics card is GTX 470. Thank you.

What kind of monitor is it? Sounds like it's either not compatible or not properly programmed. My computer rejects Visio sets the same way.

Make sure all your VGA/DVI/HDMI cable is properly connected. Assuming those are all properly connected, sounds to me like your 470 is dead.

try and see if you arent displaying out to an external source(tv or second monitor) pressing windows key+p a few times could help(obviously after windows is done loading up)

I've tried out Seluryar's suggestion but still no luck, the problem still persists. I'm currently in the process of trying to lend a graphics card from a friend to see if that is the problem, that way I'm not wasting money on a new card.
