[Windows 7|Help] Blurred fonts and UI

Hey guys, I've had this problem for quite a while and haven't been able to find a solution.

 

As you can see the text "Adobe Reader", "Installation Complete" and "Finish" as well as the left side of the window is blurred to the right.

This also happens when using VLC media player, the subtitles are blurred just like the above picture shows.

 

I do have up to date graphics card drivers.

 

I don't know if it's worth a mention but every so often my monitor cuts off, goes to black and then comes back on within about 2 - 3 seconds.

 

Anyone got any idea how I can solve either of these?

EDIT: Just noticed it also happens on the text in this post, after I posted it.

Screenshot seems absolutely fine, so chances are that there's a problem with your monitor.

Looks fine on my end. 

 

Maybe it's your monitor?

Well doesn't that make me look stupid. Looks like a new monitor is needed then, cheers for the input guys.  :^:

You might want to check video cables first, especially if you're using analog VGA connector.
