New song by Mega Drive, who was also featured in Hotline Miami 2. It's pretty good

I bought this some time back and I love how simple it is. You can often get carried away by how dense some vaporwave music is. It's almost like a pissing contest to see just how much you pack into one song, or see how much audio gymnastics you can show off. This is stripped back and mellow, like curling up under the covers when you're supposed to be at school and playing one of those third party games your uncle bought. I had assumed this would be a one EP wonder but they've gone to make similar music so it's nice to see it hadn't been swept up and chewed out by some of the bigger hitters.

This one is nothing like all songs that I've heard before:

Just realized that a new Com Truise album dropped a few months ago. I broke 1000 tracks on my Tidal library (on my phone) with these songs.

They're actually quite unique in that they largely use guitars in their compositions (most use drums and keyboard with some guitar). They do produce some more traditional synthwave compositions as well as non-syth works

check them out on YT and at http://www.wolfandravenmusic.com/.

Just found out that Electric Youth has a new album:

I think it's one of those pseudo-soundtrack albums, I couldn't find a movie called Breathing from this year.

Edit: Nvm apparently it was supposed to be a soundtrack for an actual movie, but the movie got scrapped.

The cover made me think that it's some decent vaporwave, but it turned out to be some decent synthwave

The new Blade Runner soundtrack has some synth tunes in it:

It's maybe a bit noisy and simple compared to the original Blade Runner soundtrack, but I think it was mostly still pretty faithful to the same old feel and it definitely sounded epic in the theater.

New track by Timecop1983. It's a more slowed down song that doesn't really hit a climax, but it's pretty relaxing. Has a bit of an ''In the air tonight'' by Phil Collins vibe.

I've been really enjoying Haircuts For Men lately, who produce some really high quality ambient vaporwave. Their production seems to vary between releases, but lately things have been rather smooth and lounge inspired. This release, ダウンタンブルと死にます (apparently Japanese for "I Will Die With Downturn"), is quite hefty for an EP clocking in at nearly a full hour long but it's such a relaxing listen I couldn't care less.

A friend of mine finished recording his first album 2 moths ago and a video was made to promote it. It has that cool mid 80's synth-funk sound. The album will be released next week on vinyl (of course) and digital format.
