First off I think the list of vehicles Simeon gives you via text is pretty good. They are pretty hard to find sometimes. (Quick question, after you find one, the list goes away...do you still need to find the rest? Never tried it.) Anyway, I digest. I feel like Simeon vehicles (missions especially) don't make you work at all for them. The green vehicle icon pops up and BEEP BOOP BEEP - GPS brings you right to it. I think that R* could instead highlight an area or give us a text photo of a car and based on its surroundings we have to go find it. It makes the search a little more fun and sneaky rather than "oh [insert name] is basically right next to it, forget it." This would work similarly to how bounties did for Trevor.

The actual Simeon mission jobs are even worse. Now we actually are on our own (or with friends) in a closed session away from free roam and the cars we have to repo are literally highlighted on the map - EVEN IF THEY'RE MOVING. If there were ever a time to increase some difficulty aside from dealing with more thugs and guns, this would be the scenario. R* basically hands this info to us and it's like we don't have to try at all for some of this stuff anymore.

I want to hunt based on a picture or a brief description. At the very least it would force players to take in the environment that R* took so long to perfect. Thoughts?

If you dont think we have to try to get this green highlighted car, then have everyone on the whole map go after you trying to respray and deliver it to the docks. Lol good one. People dont go fort he var unless someone takes it and then they blow up which usually leads to me killing them 15-0

I don't take calls or texts from Simeon...he can keep his chump change. So if you wanna do something strange for his change...by all means go right ahead.

@ Eyecandy...you must be on ps3..I blow up the hpv numerous trolling ways and people are usually too embarrassed to strike back. Lol

I'm sorry OP, but...we all digest our food.

OT: We need higher end Simeon vehicles before anything. But yeah, some sort of guidance wouldn't hurt.

I'd like Simeon missions if you couldn't call Lester to bribe the cops, and you also got paid depending on the condition of the vehicle you deliver it in.

you do get paid according to condition in free roam which is more challenging...makes you wonder why there are no deductions in missions.

Edit: just thought about it...lsc isn't open durinng missions. Derp silly me.

I picture Simeon missions like this.

You either go to his dealership for a mission, or he sends you a text which triggers a repo mission.

There would be different types of repos.
All of these missions require the actual tow truck,

-Easy -$5,000 (On an easy repo, the car is shown on the map, its a simple grab and return mission.)

-Medium -$10,000 (On a medium repo, either the car isnt shown on the map. Or there are multiple enemies protecting the vehicle. You either sneak past them or take them out.

-Hard -$15,000 ( On a hard repo, the car isn't shown on the map, Simeon sends you a text telling you which area the car should be. There will be enemies.

There are incentives for completing objectives during a repo. Such as,

- Completing your first repo, $5,000 (plus the $ you get for whatever difficulty you've chosen.)

- Extra $ depending on the condition of the car upon return,

Great condition -$5,000
Good condition -$3,000
Normal condition -$1,000
Bad condition -$500

- Extra $, or rewards, depending on the way in which you repo the car.

Like say there are enemies guarding the car, you'd get more $ for a clean getaway, (no enemies harmed) you and your partner would have to get creative to pull this off.

-Clean Getaway 1st Time: Official Simeon Repo T-Shirt/Polo Tee

Other times would be a cash bonus.

When Rockstar comes out with cars in DLC's they can be bought, or earned, in races or repos, in repos, sometimes you'd get special missions where you'd have to repo a dlc car, this mission, will be harder in difficulty than the standard repo jobs mentioned earlier. There will be a list of objectives that must be completed in order to unlock the car.

THESE SPECIFIC REPO DLC CARS CANNOT BE BOUGHT ONLY EARNED.

that's really all I could think of to make me work for Simeon.

Rockstar used Simeon's character to screw early level players.

Btw, Simeon and Rockstar are similar.

The cars are not hard to find by any means? Like literally almost every single car that I get in thats not my PV will give me two stars because its one of his. Its nice and easy money if you have the patience to do it. Driving halfway across Los Santos when dumbass kids are loaded up on sticky bombs isn't really my thing though.

Considering how I still remember my early days of GTA:O and how piss poor Simeon paid me for doing his missions, Simeon can go f*ck himself for all I care. Martin/Lester missions > Simeon missions

Step 1: place sticky bomb on car

Step 2: wait till they go to LS customs, respray and go outside the docks garage.

Step 3:blow up.

I digest all the time, lol.

Yesterday I made $100,000 (or there abouts) from Simeon cars alone. I enjoy the sedate nature of earning money via GRAND THEFT AUTO. I'm surprised at all the idiots in here missing the point of Simeon's car missions actually.

If you wanna make it harder, turn off your GPS and map?

No, once you have found (any) one of the vehicles on his list and delivered it, you can't do the others until his text the next day (excluding the hpv)

I did enough of his exports to get the platinum medal then stopped, it's rare if i do them now

I've stopped working for simeon a long time ago.

hahaha exactly, i remember first trying out those missions and thinking WTF when i got paid... but what can you expect from the dodgy dealer that is simeon... making his missions more challenging would just add to the bitter taste of cock left in your mouth afterwards, unless payouts were buffed but that aint gonna happen now is it.

I used to do something very stupid in the first month of GTA:O.

Simeon would text me the vehicles he wants, I would deliver them to LSC and sell them there. I thought I could only sell the vehicles on his list that he's working with LSC.

I was quite surprised when I found out that it wasn't the case when I learned that I could sell pretty much any car every 45 minutes.

Back on topic, people camping Simeon's docks is probably one of the worst things to happen. What I would do is triple the HPV payout. Give people more time for delivery. Have 2 HPV's spawn at the same time leaving people fighting over 2 so if one has too much activity you go for the other one.

I find it funny how you receive the message that if you hold triangle you can throw a player out of the HPV and steal it as if anyone does that. Ever. Except in a forced melee only DM/Capture.

I have no problem with R* raising the difficulty of Simeon's jobs if the missions actually paid a decent amount in the first place.

when  you pick up his car you are nothing but a "hey come and shoot me" target

if you do pick up his car put a sticky bomb on it so if you dont get to deliver it no one will

No.

Moreover, we should be able to shoot Simeon and permanently end any Phone Calls and Messages from him. I have no need for anything he has to offer.

No as said already he is a contact for low level players.

On the other hand I would appreciate it if R* added a new contact for the high levels that was like Simeon but gave us harder and more complex missions that still revolved around car theft.

Maybe you have to jump from a low flying helicopter onto the truck and fight off the escorts then someone else takes the driver out and you take the wheel once he's dead, I know you'd normally fall off but IRL you wouldn't unless the driver crashes while your still standing. I got the idea from the hijacking scene in Fast and Furious 4.
