Post the possibility that are not on GTA Online, but which are nevertheless present in the trailer

My opinion : I do not understand why the car Buffalo and Cruiser of LSPD are not present in GTA Online like in Trailer

Heists, the slightly different high-end apartment interior, and what slohbur mentioned. Not sure what else.

Edit: Ninja'd

I still believe the clothes will be a future DLC. It does exist. Those three players who plays golf in a short scene also wears some very unknown clothing. Perhaps a sports DLC, featuring sports team merchandises like the baseball jerseys.

It's been 10 months since we have hope that it will happen...

  • 0:15: A police roadblock is shown to span virtually the entire road and a player uses a Buzzard to clear the blockade for his crew members. When do we get any opportunities to pull off stuff like that?
  • 1:06: A player is shown boosting a Cheetah at the side of the road. wat?
  • 1:13: A crew performs a collective assault on an institution with an apparent motive for acquiring personal gains of a financial nature; the narrator in the video seems to refer to this as an "heist"... Weird.
  • 2:06: WTF is that???

Those graphics, rendering distances and lag-free gameplay. Not to mention the creativity of coming up with ways to have fun.

GTA Online looked like being the greatest online game of all time when that video came out. I was so hyped and even though it did turn out to be pretty good, it fell short of the sky-high expectations.

Everything in this (tailored) trailer is bullsh*t.

1. Cops do not chase you in such fashion

2. No Cheetah to steal on the streets. It don't even spawn.

3. Tackle a Heist. Need to explain this again?

4. "Buy a garage, fill it with custom vehicles, and take to race on land, air, and sea". I don't see Jetski and Plane in my garage and are able to be customized.

5. "Introduce to new characters". How many new? One?

6. "Dynamic world". What? NPC pop-ups and jams?

So yeah, it's nothing but to pull your money in.

-snip-

Post the possibility that are not on GTA Online, but which are nevertheless present in the trailer

My opinion : I do not understand why the car Buffalo and Cruiser of LSPD are not present in GTA Online like in Trailer

0:17 to 0:20 -  Cavalcade spawns after the Bullet passes it

0:47 to 0:51 - Parachute would've detached and collided with other players

1:01 to 1:03 - Cop would've gently hit the back of his Vigero causing him to crash *ALSO*  roadblocks that obvious do not happen in GTAO

1:05 to 1:09 - Obvious bright red Cheetah does not spawn on the street

1:08 to 1:10 - Where is that guy shooting? And how is he NOT getting a kill? Is his accuracy that bad?

1:13.................... self explanatory.

1:20 to 1:22 - Guy on the right would've been caught in the blast radius and died as a result

1:25 - Guy on the far left has special T-shirt which is not present in the game

1:27 to 1:29 - They're playing A Titan of A Job, but MerryWeather jeeps do not spawn already there. Patriots do

1:32 to 1:33 - Dramatic lightning is dramatic

1:34 to 1:36 - Incorrect prices & where's the bald hair/black patch hair glitches?

1:37 to 1:39 - Clothes are not present in the game

1:42 to 1:48 - Stop by and do what besides sit around, getting intoxicated and watching TV?

1:58 to 2:01 - Before getting blown up by some douchebag

2:02 to 2:08 - I've met Madrazo, and I'm past level 120. What new characters?!

2:10 to 2:11 - That mission is ridiculous. I tried parachuting into it once. I died in less than 20 seconds

2:13 to 2:15 - lolwut? Where did those blasts come from? The jet didn't shoot those extra missiles

2:15 to 2:17 - Jokes on us. You need a save editor to have that custom color

2:18 to 2:22 - I have yet to see this 'Content'

2:23 to 2:25 - Our own races like "JUMPS, JUMPS, JUMPS" right?

2:27 to 2:29 - Our own DMs like "$1000000000+RP!!!!!!!!!!1"

2:47 to 2:48 - He would've died by his own Sticky Bomb detonation

Dynamic world hmm? Whatever Rockstar.

lol I'd love to direct a trailer video like that. It was so much more action packed and intricate than actually playing online.

1:45 Why? I've never seen so many people in an apt doing nothing.

That trailer hyped online more than they could handle, now they have the burden of stalling heists for so long that nobody who has the game can officially say "Heists were worth the wait"

EDIT

0:57 there's no jumbo jetliners online.

2:15 Judicious7 those extra explosions looked like an airstrike, they just made it look better with someone flying the jet

So, I think I'm going to take the unpopular opinion (and the non-hypocritical one) and actually compliment Rockstar.

1. Almost everything they talked about was implemented - jobs, races, car customization, apartments, garages, every single vehicle was present in the game...  You guys have to remember, this game was a quantum leap beyond what GTA IV's multiplayer was.

2. Of course everything looks a bit different in the trailer.  There was no graphic enhancement, aside from a couple visual filters, there was just dynamic camera angles - panning, zooming, etc. - that is not possible during actual gameplay.  It was done with a developer's theater mode, if you will.

3. The reason their races and deathmatches and missions looked so fun is because they each featured packed rosters - I can't actually remember the last time I was in a race that had the full number of players present.  And of course they aren't just going to show a race with two lonely-ass people on a 3-mile course.

4. The ONLY thing missing was heists.  And although I can't exactly side with Rockstar on this one since they promised Heists in spring and are still yet to deliver, I can say that every other feature made it in.

5. They have absolutely been updating the world constantly.  No, there haven't been physical changes (aside from snow and the occasional asteroid (lol)), but there's been a sh*t-ton of DLC, and we haven't needed to drop a dime.  So yes, I'd call that "constant updates".

So bottom line, I actually think that GTAO has been quite successful.  And you guys should too, considering the number of hours you've probably spent on it.  A fair number of you have exceeded 30 days; no-one in their right minds would spend 43,200 minutes doing something if they didn't enjoy it even a little bit.

I think this right here holds some truth.  That goes for any mission or anything.  The majority of this stuff is co-op or PvP play, but the only lobby i've ever seen that was actually full, other than a damn rooftop rumble lobby, was free roam.  If there was 16 players, or over 10 at least in every deathmatch or race, mission or survival, it would be way more interesting.

There needs to be better matchmaking.

Please everyone keep repeating what I already posted.

...

...

Yeah because matchmaking is diabolical. Last time I played GTA IV (last year) the races were regularly full of the maximum amount of players.
