Looking back not much has changed actually, except the community. Formatting is practically identical :)

Man, seeing Cerbera's name in there... Brings back some memories, as well as some horror. And The Pit! Ahh, good times!

Scary when I think about it actually, especially as I'm 26. Spent more than half my life on these boards.

I sometimes wonder about what this place will be like in 20 or 30  years time, or even longer down the line. If they keep making GTA games then I guess this place would still keep living, but if no more get made then it would probably just die off eventually. It'd be surreal to think in the future that there might be people that have been on here for like 30+ years or something. Or even potentially OAP's that have been on here their whole lives pretty much.

Still remember the 2004 version, and still miss the old design before V released.

Yeah that blue is classic is it possible to choose it as a skin?

I think the prime of these forums was 2007-2012.

Sucks that I haven't been here longer than last year.

I can definitely see the GTAF thriving for decades, even IF GTA V turns out to be the last installment to the series (incredibly unlikely anyways lol.), look at the Halo 1 community, it's still pretty active.

Demarest on the other hand..

I can remember when he was around and not-yet-banned shortly after I joined, as well as that website he ran with mods and fixes for III and VC, but I wasn't really aware of what happened with him until a few years after when someone else was going on about the whole thing. This was his arrest video, according to one of the old threads.

Anyway, back on topic, I was just thinking about the old GTAF the other day. I can remember a lot of speculation for GTA IV and the initial hype when the first trailer was announced in March 2007 and then released later that month. I remember not believing a word that deepthroatgta4 had to say, and I think he was even banned momentarily. Then I remember everyone rushing to get the latest magazines that had previews, everyone being pissed off about the lack of jetpacks and planes, the origin of the realistic steak, and the eventual delay (they even had a crying baby noise playing on the GTA IV section for a while then). I also remember signing off every post with this for some reason.

I only remember back to Feb 2011. That V forum, it wasn't as messy as it is now, but sometimes...

Seeing the old blue layout when it was just myself, Ryan, Knife, Vanzant and K^2 as GTA V forum led bys still brings back memories. Hard to think it was only a couple of years ago.

For the record, GTAForums.com was called GTA3Forums.com before GTA: Vice City.

Check it out, bitches.

I just wish we got the old themes back. Surely it can't be that hard?

I was the only user of Cerbera's themes.  They were the best.

Would you say you were a big fan of Cerbera's conventional skin?
