While the LSPD garage will repair your vehicle whenever you need it, you will not be able to escape the police by accessing this garage, meaning in order to escape the police when driving a police vehicle you must either escape naturally, or escape to your garage.
Killing the mechanic will also result in a 3-star wanted level. There will be a LSPD customs located in Los Santos, Sandy Shores/Grapeseed area, and Paleto Bay. The mechanic will also communicate negatively with the player, unlike the happy-go-lucky LSC mechanics. Modified police vehicles will also be able to be sold here, but police vehicles stolen off the street and not tracked/insured cannot be sold.

Police Cruiser: $25,000
Sheriff Cruiser: $25,000
Unmarked Cruiser: $40,000
FIB Buffalo: $80,000
Police Buffalo: $70,000
FIB Granger: $50,000
Sheriff SUV: $35,000
Park Ranger: $40,000
Police Bike: $45,000
Pegasus Vehicle Additions:
The price tag on the Police Riot will be heavy due to the Pegasus variant coming equipped with bulletproof tires. Since the Police Riot can absorb up to five sticky bombs, and can hold a plethora of people, with bulletproof tires it becomes a mean machine, its weaknesses being:
-Grenade launcher rounds
The front glass of the Riot Van is also 100% bulletproof, so it’s a moving fortress.
Prison Bus: $300,000
Ever feel like transporting your crew of felons like they should be transported? The prison bus is the right choice for you. Being much more maneuverable than a public transport bus and the Dashound, it will allow for faster travel. Knowing Rockstar though, it would be a lot more expensive than $300,000.
Police Transport Van: $400,000
The windows on the police transport van are completely bulletproof, the only method of killing the driver, being to blow the entire thing sky high. I’m not even sure I would personally add this, as it would be a complete nightmare for low-level players, especially those that don’t have access to explosives yet. As consolation if anything, it won’t be equipped with bulletproof tires. The Riot Van is at least much slower, giving them the opportunity to escape.
Police Predator: $100,000
Police Maverick: $???,???
I haven’t a clue how much the Maverick costs, so can’t really figure out a price. Will update in the future.
1-star = $1,000
2-star = $2,000
3-star = $5,000
4-star = $10,000
5-star = $20,000
When in Vigilante mode, the mode will cancel if you gain a wanted level. When pursuing a player, if you make contact with a police car in your own, you will not receive a wanted level. You will only receive a wanted level if you kill/attack pedestrians or police officers, along with players who do not have a wanted level on them.
If two or more players are going after a suspect, killing another player in Vigilante Mode will give you a wanted level. Their marker will turn into a shape of a police badge if in Vigilante Mode, also giving wanted players a heads up that they may be pursuing them. If multiple players go after a suspect, they can of course split the reward via the cash menu in the inventory menu. Vigilante mode will be able to be cancelled via the interaction menu at any time.
A wanted player killing a player in vigilante mode will result in a 100 RP reward. The vigilante will of course respawn and be able to continue the chase, but if they begin to feel overwhelmed/give up, they can simply cancel the mode, and the wanted player will not receive the RP bonus for killing them unless they enter vigilante mode again.
