You either invested time in the game and then purchased the Liberator or in some cases, Cash Cards -> GTA$ -> Liberator Purchase. I am failing to see how this is Free. Nothing is Free, everything costs someone something.

Did anyone pay money to activate the DLC? No? Then that means it was FREE, buying cash cards or racking up cash doesn't mean sh*t.

the Elegy is FREE...

the last time i checked the Liberator had a nice $742,014 pricetag, i dont know you but that doesnt sound like free to me!

Of course it's free, you just need to do around 800 Gerald or Simeon missions to pay for it...

Lay off the drugs for a bit, OP.  That thing is not even remotely close to the Liberator.

On topic,

It does not look like it. It has the same rims/tires though.

Even if it was cut and saved for DLC, who cares? It was a free DLC..

If it had been there from the beginning, it would've costed GTA $ aswell, me and others refer to the term "free" as in "no additional charge required" and it's perfectly legitimate. So get your head out of your ass. (And please... don't bring up playing time, that's just bullsh*t)

Also, i have no problem with cut content as long as they are releasing it at some point for free. Keeps the game a little more interesting imo

Oh and no, that is not the liberator on the poster

Some people really are clutching at straws for sticks to beat R* with, but this is a reach even by the standards of this forum!

Really? That's GTAO$ not actual physical money we are talking about. You really can't compare the both seeing as how rockstar doesn't really have a use for their own made up money compared to actual money.

I wonder if all the cars from the dlcs will be in the next gen versions. I'd love to see them actually driving on the street.

Maybe Pyramid_Head didn't use enough words to make it clear: the Liberator was free in terms of real money. You didn't need to buy it with real money, you didn't need a cash card. The only thing it's costing you is time and all that depends on is how you manage said time. If you screw about in freeroam and moan about wanting the Liberator, you'll resort to a cash card. If you commit to grinding Rooftop Rumble for a total of 4-5 hours, you could get the Liberator. If not appealing, you could always try out the many missions/races/playlists presented which can make a good amount of money in an hour. It's extremely easy to make money in GTA:O if you commit to it for an hour.

As for your argument about buying GTA V, that's just nit-picking. I mean, you're right. Totally. Guys, can't buy the Liberator if you don't have a console. Oh, and a TV. Oh, and you need the internet. Also, maybe a roof with some lights and a few walls to keep you warm. Maybe buy some soup to eat while you wait for the game to load. Also, you should buy a cat to keep you company when it gets lonely.

Sarcasm aside, R* did planned DLC for a "Constantly Evolving" world. They said there would be 700+ missions and there isn't. Races, deathmatches and the likes are not missions and shouldn't be counted. I don't care if Martin tells me 413 times he loves me in an appropriate way, I would like to see said 700+ missions. I thought it would be coming with the full package but seems it's updated over time. So R* didn't lie when they said it was a "Constantly Evolving" world, we just didn't know they based their evolution on things that should of been there already.

To all the people that think it's a DLC it isn't. It's is called an update, there is a difference between the two.

Technically, you have to DownLoad Content to have it which we have to do by going to the Games Marketplace to download which then prompts an update.

Well you don't have to download the DLC to play online but you need to download the update to play online.

You've just proven yourself wrong, then. To obtain the Liberator, you need to download the "DLC".
Also, if I'm correct, you can't play with people who have downloaded the "DLC" if you haven't. A message will say "Incompatible Packs", along those lines.

*2nd edit*
The argument of "it's not DLC if you don't pay for it" isn't really valid. To me, an update is a release of bug fixes which also adds things. Yes, I said "add things" so you would be right but the fact you need to download the "update" from the Games Marketplace (Xbox 360) makes it a downloadable. An update will happen by itself, asking you if you want to update the game. You say yes, it updates the game, you're done. A download you have to find it, download it and then play. A compatibility pack may be needed and in GTA:O case it comes as an update. So if you really want to get technical, we're both right in a way.

But for the Liberator itself which is the focus of this topic, it should be referred to as DLC (but honestly who cares).
Can the forum please focus on a REAL problem instead of this DLC/Update crap? :p

That's the Rancher from GTA IV with monster truck tires.

I don't know where on YouTube you idiots are finding this stuff, but all it does is make you look...well, like little kids. Because you're the only people that come up with something so stupid.

I guess you finally got tired of playing GTA like it's Call Of Duty and started exploring things the rest of us saw months ago.  That has been there since the game was pressed to Blu-Ray discs.

Rockstar likely seen this mod people made, and they thought it was a good idea.

Liberator wasn't "cut". It was created as July 4th DLC and "locked" until July 4th. Bonus news flash: Most, if not all, DLC is already on the disc and was created and coded alongside the rest of the game...
