Hello and sorry for bad english.

is it Possible ( in Pc Version ) create a outside Multiplayer?

i mean Like Samp, and IV-MP Project, and create gamemode by yourself etc.

This could be really cool if someone will do project like this ( ofc if possible )

I'm sure it will be possible. But I'm not sure about its success, because after all, GTA: Online will make most of the playerbase stick with it. A mod like SAMP for GTAV should offer a lot of advantages in order to attract people. What advantages? I don't really know, maybe new and custom game modes, higher amount of players per server, etc.

I will say it again, I'd LOVE it if there was something like SAMP's Partyserver in Online, with turfwars and persistent competition, not simple TDMs, Planetside 2 style.

Possible yes - Likely no.

Even SA-MP took years of development. Compared to V's very advanced RAGE engine it's highly unlikely.

Look at IV:MP. It's a buggy mess no one cared about.

I don't hate Online, I hate the people who play it.

NTA, pls

I doubt he would be behind this.

To me, it sounds logical to start a project on a game with.. the actual game files

and AFAIK, he's on IV and not V. Feel free to correct me, of course.

No, not really. They've been working on the GUI's and the scripting stuff. They cannot do anything else yet.
Cause the game isn't out yet. But it's the first project I know off that is actually planning to do a scriptable GTA V multiplayer client. And no NTA stuff.

Technically.. Grand Theft Auto Series never had multiplayer from Rockstar until GTA IV was the very first multiplayer from Rockstar and it was unsuccessful because of bugs, lags and so much more.

My best opinion I think Rockstar used some of their GTA: SAMP development for GTA V and it was very successful they always keep it update, free-roam whole map and have abilities to do anything in freeroam, more DLC contents also and events too!

So... yeah mp is more likely GTA SAMP but with better engine, and major improvements.

applying my transport code to V will be a ton of times easier (in fact, the hardest part can already be done on Max Payne 3, as that uses similarly updated networking frameworks to V) than those alleged-projects do implementing networking from scratch

So you, good sir, can guarantee us that the coding will permit a team to develop a V:MP client, without the problems that have occured during IV:MP development?

Tell me more.

# What do you mean by ''my transport code''?

... so just a basic website template taken from something, some logos smacked on it and a bad V screenshot with watermark on it is enough to convince you, and yet they can't even have any progress on the actual game (which will take them years to get properly functioning in a similar way to R*N's multiplayer component) and are just fishing for popularity in an empty sea of nothing?

Also the English usage shows a ton of clear mistakes from the creator's native language, half the menu links don't lead to anything (or to a German-language empty MediaWiki installation), and the entire menu is in the system default serif font as well? (even more so, the site looks exactly like that of some other GTA multiplayer modification I won't name because of them being kind of my competition :) )

The big problem of that multiplayer Projects is the time who coders have to dedicate....

i see that since gta 3...

I don't expect them to have a fully functioning website before the mod is actually released and people are making servers. Until you prove their roadmap and commit log is fake, i stand my opinion.

They're deliberately trying to imitate Rockstar's system. It's not their cloud server with your data if it requires you to download a server (see the website footer). That won't go past what it is, and if it does, it definitely won't be like they expect it to be.

Here's a promise I'll make: I'll have at the least a functional alpha of a multiplayer modification with dedicated servers and custom scripts similar to CitizenMP:IV out for V within 1.5-2 months of release.

it'll be a subpage on citizen.re which currently is a bit of a IV thing, also gta5.re will redirect to it most likely

I'm just not a person to hype things up by creating a lot of side things that take time when there's more important solution stuff to work on
