That set of videos is way more than a simple box modeling tutorial. It teaches most of basic tachniques used by professionals to make realistic models from the texture to next-gen game engines, including RAGE.


It teaches:

-How to paint shadows in the texture using 3ds MAX instead of painting it manually.

-How to properly UVWMap your texture without being funky.

-How to mount your Unwrapped UVW template to edit on photoshop.

-How to do Blend nice effects.

-How to do Normal, Bump and Specular maps from Diffuse texture.

And so on
