What the f*ck are any of you talking about, theres no such thing as GTA Online 2.

GTA Online is a game like any other MMO it would just continue to grow bigger with expansion packs or in your case Updates and DLC. The character Rank is capped at 8000 so they plan on pushing this game for many years to come, no need to transfer sh*t. It would play out just like World of WarCraft or Final Fantasy Online

This is the main reason its not called GTA V Online so there would be no expiration dealing with sequels or timeline lines, what if GTA 6 is based on the slave trade or 1930s? Then GTA Online wouldnt fit and there would be a need for GTA Online 2: Civil Rights Movement. But its own game that can stand alone no matter what direction Rockstar goes in with the next installment.

Everyone one pretty much has to face that GTA 6 is expected to bring Vice City into HD universe, its only right to do so, but instead of creatimg a whole new online world they would just slap it onto GTA Online server and just have you fly or sail there

I remember from an interview Rockstar said that GTA Online would grow and evolve with the series, so probably when the next installment of GTA comes out Online will be included, along with an update of the new place in Online, where hopefully you can switch between cities, but each city has their own ranking system.

Regardless of what some people here will say. GTAO is not technically a separate game from GTA V. R* stated last year that they were treating it as a separate entity from SP in the context of how it would be maintained. Someone took that statement out of context, and now here we are with people claiming that it's a completely different game than GTA V... and that R* gave it to us for free.

GTAO is simply the online portion of GTA V. If you would like proof of this, simply look at the back of your GTA V game case. It clearly states that this game comes with an online multiplayer.

This.

Dont listen to Rockstar dude, these the same people who told you Heist where coming in the Spring and that they would crackdown on cheaters...plus that was then and whenever they said that, sh*t happens and changes daily,

And GTA Online is its own game because it can have other locations like Liberty City and Vice City added to it, GTA V can not, that story is done and in the books, GTA Online can keep expanding is what we are saying. "FEATURING GRAND THEFT AUTO ONLINE" is whats said on the back cover which translates that GTAO could really have been sold or downloaded without GTA V.

Like when they said online would expand - lies

Heists out this spring - lies

Gta V out 2013 in spring - lies

Why would i believe that they would expand when all they seem to do is delay and take things away.

You're a idiot if you think online is going to have multiple cites.

A new version of GTA Online will come out, and likely be in a new city. It will be awesome!

(But it will also be bundled with GTA:VI which will have a singple player mode based in that same city).

ideally there will be no GTA O2, they will simply continue adding to this one, however it will no longer be accessible on ps3/xbox 360 and whether or not they continute to allow you to play the beta version on them remains to be seen so i guess in that sense you could kinda call it two games  as the ps4/xbox1/pc version will have much more content.
