Like the title says, I have never got 100%, should I be ashamed? Also I want to get 100% but which one should I start with. I already finish GTA5 and San Andreas main missions so I might start with the San Andreas. What do you think?

Yeah that's a pretty good idea. I would suggest Vice City as that's quite easy. And bear in mind that the final missions of GTA Sa are tougher the Gta 5. Atleast for me.

Vice City is the only game with a reward worth getting 100%.

I already finish the final missions for both GTA5 and San Andreas. Just to clear that up.

Neither did I, and I never bother with it. I enjoy the part of the game I find fun, and running around and looking in every corner to find every last one of a hundred Xs or Ys is not what I consider fun. I think the most hidden packages I ever collected in any GTA was about 60 of those in VC, though it was all when I randomly come across them, but I certainly would never torture myself by diving around to find oysters, looking trough a camera all over SF or running around VC looking for some packages I don't care about.

Basically, I play for the missions and the fun that is available in general gameplay and don't think anyone should be ashamed of not getting 100%, nor is it something I find amazing when I see it in some of the signatures around these forums.

I never got to 100% in any GTA games, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna cut myself over it. I almost got 100% on GTA 5 but then I said "f*ck it" and started a new game.

To be honest, I have never got 100% in a GTA game, as well. Because I don't see much to do after completing the storyline... I'm that kind of a player. I just push the limits for the good features such as the empire building in VCS, gang wars in SA and TLAD, the drug wars in TBOGT, drug dealing mini-game in Chinatown Wars etc. However, probably IV has provided me the longest playtime (and it's my biggest chase after 100%) after finishing the storyline, because side missions like The Fixer's Assassinations, Stevie's Car Thefts, The Most Wanted were grade-A cool.

The only games I have 100% with are GTA IV (plus both expansions), and V. I probably would have gone for it with the 3D games, but at the time I didn't really bother with online maps or guides, and I seriously doubt I could find all those collectibles without them.

I see no reason to feel ashamed. Going for 100% isn't for everyone and doesn't make you any less of a GTA fan.

Yes, How Terrible! Shame on you!! .. lol .

Anyways, try with GTA 2 all the way to GTA IV ( IV's an exception here, since its quite boring - play and decide yourself )

Why you should be ashamed? It's not like your going to jail for that. I only got 100% in GTA VCS.  :dozing:

I've never completed a GTA 100% either, and I've been playing the games since '97, long before Kalvin came into this world. I just don't have the patience to do every little mundane task like shooting pigeons or hunting for oysters or whatnot.

I went for TLAD 100% since it was my favorite, and damn proud I am.

I think GTA VC is the easiest one and doesn't take much time. So If you suppose you may lose your patience it's the best choice.

Is this even possible to complete GTA 2 in 100% without any cheat and tricks? I felt some Kill Frenzies in the 2nd and the 3rd districts literally impossible to pass.

If you want more gameplay out of some older GTAs, go for 100%. Other than that, it's not a huge deal. No one is forcing you.

I never got 100% in any game. Never cared for it.

Most of the time it's just finding collectibles and all that sh*t. I never understood the point of it other than to satisfy that OCD of having to have everything.

I also have never 100% completed a GTA game. I will do it at some point, but I'm in no hurry at all. Just have fun with the games. Don't push yourself to do something you don't want. Take your time, and enjoy the experience, rather than rushing through it all.

Of course. You can complete without cheats.
Its a challenging part of the fun, and you need to use certain 'tricks' with simple preparation and requirements to face the tough moments.
That's the beauty of kill frenzies; required planning to be ready for unscripted fun.
PM the details. I'll share as much I could with the best of my efforts.

I got 100% in GTA 3 and 5. There was always some dumb glitches that kept me from the other ones. GTA IV excluded. I got close in VC, but there was one hidden package I couldn't get even though I kept track of all I did. Same with SA. I could never get the last oyster.

Completed Vice City 100% about a year or two ago.

That's because VC is my all time favorite GTA game and that was just "something you had to do" in my book.

Not sure, but I might take IV in consideration in future. Maybe.

The only one I ever bothered to get 100% in was GTA LCS, because I had convinced myself helicopters would start spawning once I did. Needless to say, I was very dissapointed, so I just downloaded cheat device and never even tried to get 100% in another game since.

Though I got Vice City on my PC recently so maybe I'll give it a shot.
