[SA] Flying Script Problem

I made a flying script but for some reason when I fly upwards the speed is much less than when I fly downwards, has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

it's realistic when i loose speed by flying upwards
what means "much less" ? post your script if you want senseful help

Basically anytime I try to set an actor's velocity upwards in the air it seems to cap it off at a really slow speed whereas going downwards it can go as fast as I tell it to.

 

This is the opcode I use (I don't set it to 0.0 with my script by the way):

083C: set_actor $PLAYER_ACTOR velocity_in_direction_XYZ 0.0 0.0 0.0

And also for some reason when disabling an actors collisions it stops you being able to set their velocity too.

depends to your calculation

Ok can you make me a line of CLEO code that will just make my character go upwards pretty fast? And why does it stop you moving with collisions disabled?

until not key pressed
 

And why does it stop you moving with collisions disabled

because mass is missing for physical world
