Alright, so I just put 100% armor on my Ruiner, about five minutes after I hit level 100  . I decided to plant a stickybomb on the hood, see what it could do. To my udder shock, it didn't prevent the vehicle from exploding. I didn't expect it to be without a scratch, but I didn't expect this either.

So, this makes me wonder. What is 100% armor capable of before I spend 30 grand on every car I own?

Ah. Well, that's a shame. I was hoping it would be able to withstand a sticky bomb explosion. My friend really likes sticky bombs (...and using them on me....) so I thought it would be funny to get a reaction when it didn't work the first try. Well, thanks for your reply.

wheel axis won't break or bend as easy

car gets heavier and harder to ram in races(although this is not noted due to everyone using the same cars)

it works

unlike player armor
oh and 30k is for lower car classes, high ends are 50k i think. like turbo mods

The problem with REAL 100% car armor is you'd essentially be in God Mode with an Entity or any other bulletproof-back car. I've faced these types (who use cheats) and they're basically invincible griefers. Even if you manage to drive up on top of them with a tank they can just use stickies to blow you up.

I suppose it would be a good idea for it to not be that bosslike.

They should have made 100% armor protected from at least one RPG shot.

Tanks can run over them and its 50/50 chance they wont blow up.
