If you are Rockstar corporate and know with in the months that GTA Online has been out and that people have been modding and glitching (almost like stealing money) would you be leery of releasing something that is all about money? I also think that the community may be wasting the GTA devs time, because they could be working on new stuff, but are fixing the exploits we find. I'm not sure this is the case, but could be the most logical one.

Link? I'll proudly ask the mods to lock or bury this if you provide one.

Its not like a single team is working in DLC Creation and Glitch Fixing at the same time. I totally agree that some glitches (mostly money glitches) can make R* delay content, but why we got an announcement of Heists coming this spring and instead we got the Hipster DLC? Because, IMO; R* will implement Casino/BAWSAQ/Heists in PS4 and X1

It's funny though, I feel like maybe the community is finding these glitches, because heists are not out yet and that we are getting bored.

Didn't they remove heists within the 1st few days of online? The option to host heists was there at the start.
Seems like they didn't work from the start.

Are they completely responsible? No.

Is a certain segment of the community that is constantly looking for money exploits partially to blame? Absolutely.

Some will say "R* has different people/teams working on fixing bugs/glitches/etc, than those that work on content/heists/etc."

That's most likely true, but do you honesty think that they're going to release something as highly touted and anticipated as heists, if there is a mega money exploit going around (like last week's dead hooker exploit)? They would be idiots to do that.

Some will say that the reason people are looking for exploits because heists aren't out yet and they're bored. If that's the case, turning the game off is a viable option. When I get "bored," I don't go looking for ways to break the game... I simply shut it off.

Besides, if you're "bored," heists coming out isn't going to make a difference long term... You'll play the heists once or twice, then be right back to complaining about being "bored." Hell, some money glitchers even say that, the reason they do it is so they don't "have" to play the other content in the game... Putting the word "heist" in front of something isn't going to change that thought process.

The funny thing is, the money glitchers also say that they do it because they don't wanna "grind," while apparently not realizing that they are still "grinding"... They're just grinding a glitch instead of a mission... Their form of "grinding," however, violates the game's TOS.

No, the money glitching is getting patched because it damages Cash Card, an icing on Rockstar's cake, sales. Why buy Cash Cards when billions float around in counterfeit cash? That's the kind of logic R* is afraid of so they try to patch that stuff asap. Heists delay are because Rockstar pulled a Peter Molyneux moment and got overly ambitious about what they would do unrealising the limitations of what they could do. Heists in storymode are highly scripted with one player and bots about them, not try and work that out with multiple players in one heist. Personally, I've come to the conclusion we will not see heists until conveniently after the PC, PS4 and Xbox One release of GTA V. Regardless of this, the end answer is the same, Heists will never live up to the hype and anyone expecting some badass experience will be setting themselves up for disappointment. Rockstar is Icarus and they flew to close to the sun on this one.

For the reason there's a giant Maze Bank Tower, multiple unusable theaters, shop exteriors and thousands of other buildings. Aesthetic. That's not to say casinos are out of the picture, but the fact so many players are surefire the next DLC is a casino update is just a weird desperation to believe some super epic DLC is inbound.

Of course they're going to focus on money glitches. Anything that affects possible $$ Card profits gets fixed asap. Meanwhile, wallbreaches and significant game breaking glitches remain an afterthought.

No

Rockstars refusal to give up more than ten employees for GTA Online is probably the reason for the delay.

Damn this topic has been smashed and turned into ground beef by this point.

I think its taken a bigger beating than the "why do males play female avatars?"

Just do a damn search next time.

Short answer is NO!  It's already a known fact that Rockstar leaves open so many back doors for glitches. Players don't just stumble on a combination of things that just happen to work. "R" puts it out there for numerous reasons. If you paid attention you'd know that Rockstar already said heists were taking longer than they thought they would and they've never promised us a casino DLC at all, you need to stop believing everything you see on youtube.

A lot of people are to blame.

Youtubers, for putting the glitches out there with detailed tutorials.

GTA Community, for exploiting said glitches to the extreme.

Rockstar, for promising heists from the start and then multiple times afterwards and never delivering.

Everybody shares fault here.

Because, IMO; R* will implement Casino/BAWSAQ/Heists in PS4 and X1

Not sure how you could get the stock market to work.  If you're aware of how any market works, it requires large investors to actually move and manipulate a stock, ie. investment banks, funds, etc.  With all of the glitched money going around, just try to imagine the amount of corruption and manipulation possible.  It would be far beyond anything anything Rockstar could ever imagine, problems far beyond some 12 year old's duplicating Adders in their garage.  There's no integrity and sustainability in a market that is fixed with zero risk involved, zero risk being that money which is obtained through glitching.  I believe there was a conspiracy to buy up and dump a certain stock the first week GTA:O came out, but it never happened because Rockstar shut it down.

Sadly, the BAWSAQ dream was dead before it could ever be used.

A casino, on the other hand, is feasible because you cannot manipulate the payouts.  Each hand or turn is an isolated situation and/or risk, ie. BlackJack, Slot Machines.  Poker is an isolated and situational game too, because you can incorporate Limit Hold'em, preventing money glitchers from going all-in on every hand.  Or, you can set a buy-in for no-limit and play with "tournament" chips, which have no GTA$ value.
