Self-explanatory. I've considered using it due to the minor annoyance of trying to take out specific NPCs in the dark, but so far, I've only ever used it once.

TBH, I don't find it all that useful, honestly. Plus, I could see it giving away your position in PvP, so that might be another downside. I know you can turn it off and all, but still.

First poll, please don't hurt me...!

No, it gives away your position.

It's also on by default so you have to take it off before you shoot in PvP, if it was off by default and you just turn it on for npcs it'd be better.

I keep it on a secondary weapon so if needed I have a gun equipped with it.

I put it on some of my weapons for aesthetic reasons but they are pointless really. Only time I ever leave the flashlight on is when engaging npcs.

Nope it gives away your position, now if you could drop it as a decoy; however , it would definitely be part of my arsenal.

I have it on a few guns, but the thing is -- I never use those guns. It's a pretty useless attachment, considering that the map is always pretty well lit (even at night). I'd only attach it to every gun if it were turned off by default; I can't be bothered to go through every weapon in my inventory and manually turn it off every time I change sessions.

like others have said, it gives away your posi. Not only that but it doesnt actually work as in light up an area. If you go to the gang attack under the bridge by mors mutual and the nearby ammunation and use a flashlight you would realise they are completly aestetic and offer no visual difference on targets more than 5 metres away

Cleaning the cat house on free aim.

You're dead without it. That's such a cool mission to have to use it practically I wish it was a necessity more often.

I use it every day.

Only because I lower cars and it helps find the center of wheels, especially at night.. lol.

I bought it on all of my weapons during the billionaire days but it took me only a few sessions to realize the fleshlight is annoying as f*ck.

So I removed them all.

Yeah, but some people (myself included) wish the default was off.

Too lazy to press that right directional button...

Nope, only time I ever used a flashlight mod on my weapon was in that single player mission, didn't find it useful or necessary at all

I use it a lot because I turned down the brightness in the game to make the darkness more realistic (although it's a drawback in PvP) and it's really helpful in rural areas when it's that dark. Sometimes it's really hard to see other players when the brightness is turned down like that so there are cons but it really makes the flashlight stand out when using it.

I do the same I thought I was the only one but yeah brightness turned down makes the game better and makes the forests scarier

Nice Freudian slip there. Hope you're enjoying your fleshlight, sorry I meant flashlight.

It is sad if it's genuinely laziness but if you're PVP against a decent player then it's a slight disadvantage if you're flashing your torch even for half a second.

Remember people, don't flash strangers.

No and I can't stand when I have a teammate in a TDM using it. All it does is say " hey I'm over here kill me thanks ".

Gives away position and often causes frames to dip, so just not worth using at all IMO.

I have it on my carbine just to make it look more like what I carried in the Army. I do try to use it to signal players in choppers as they buzz over my head. I'm not sure if they actually see it though because I never get a response...

In my personal experience in survivals at night it helps a lot. I don't know if its just me but I think it blinds the AI making those meth heads have worse accuracy. I ALWAYS use it on missions at night because of this.

Never PvP though. I like the toggle feature to. Fun to flash at people lol
