And that's just it....Why do Rockstar feel the need to PATCH EVERYTHING in V?  They should realize there is some massive, and strange/funny glitches in ALL GTA Games. Are we complaining that those past games are broken and a mess?  No.  Some glitches should remain, regardless, they will NOT fix everything.  Even when their final Patch is released, something is gonna be left not functioning properly.  So idk why they just stop dicking around.  The glitches do not harm anyone.  So quit patching everything.

Wear your helmet guys, this game is a bumpy ride and your fun will be removed sooner or later.

Exactly! Couldn't agree more. IV's swingset glitch, SA's interior world, III's ghost town, etc. Those are some legendary glitches that add to the fun of open world we play in. In V, there was a similar glitch to the swingset from IV. I'm not sure what exactly you would have to do, but if my memory serves correctly, using a Rhino to push one of the automated gates in front of the many mansions in game would fling you like the swingset from IV. They patched that and I can't understand why. That's like patching IV's swingset, literally. It's just nonsense to me.

Literally something happened to Rockstar.  Only when it comes to GTA V, they try to make the game as scripted and basic as possible.  No fun, just the same scripted nonsense over and over.

I found a glitch!

Now Rockstar removes it.

It's pathetic, really.

Instead of fixing unharmful glitches, they should spend time on adding more to the game, or fixing game breaking glitches, etc...

I'm just waiting for the PS4 version, I don't play it much because it's a lot of hassle to change around loads of cables just to pointlessly drive around for half an hour, PS4 will be more entertaining for me because of the Share function and whatnot.

All the time. I make my own fun,I think the thing about Gta is the freedom to explore and find things to do rather than have stuff given to you. Despite the games flaws I still enjoy it because I think it's still better than 4.

I could not imagine GTA IV without the swingset glitch. To this day it still cracks me up as to it's randomness in deciding where to launch Niko and his car.

Cheers.

Can't play for more than 10 minutes now (SP, hate online). Makes me wonder how I played IV sooooo much after I beat it.

I still need to play the story campaign but I have been playing a lot of online, flying around and messing around with my friends

I got distracted but I feel bad that I haven't still played the story but online keeps pulling me back

No, but honestly, that has more to do with the fact that I have very little free time right now. I'm lucky if I even manage to finish watching a movie, let alone get some gaming in. I'll pick the controller back up at some point, but right now, I'd just end up putting it right back down again.

I normally click in sp from online just before I shut the ps3 off and usually go on a rocket killing spree till I get killed.

No can't stand playing for more than 10 minutes. All the online focused crap and giving it more features than SP, makes this game boring as hell. Also car handling and the physics ruin having fun.

Last time I played was two weeks ago. I was playing regularly despite none of my friends playing anymore, but I had to stop once I saw the evil "Ferris Wheel" bug.

I fixed the bug by re installing the update, but have been afraid to play online ever since. Now I'm just waiting for a PC release because I'm just done turning on that PS3.

I still play it sometimes but like you said, there is not much to do. Walk around listen to a few ped conversations, kill people, drive around. I really hope the dlc adds a lot to the open world so we have activities to keep things fresh. Casinos, gang wars, more interiors, build new sh*t on the map, vigilante missions, endless hitman targets, drug dealing, and fight clubs would be nice additions to the world.

I got up to 80 something percent I think, and I'd have continued (logged around 170 hours or so) but goddamn, the frustration of losing yet another unique vehicle to the garage glitch just made me throw my hands up in despair and frustration.

Haven't played since.

I've bought a PS4 and am waiting for the PS4 version now.

Never played online, and won't.

Hey man, a good solution to the losing vehicles problem is simply make a backup of your save.

I am a Proof Vehicle Collector (3D Era Games), or Unique Vehicle Collector (HD Era Games) and my only advice is the moment you obtain a Unique Vehicle, save your game, reload your game, check if it's there.  If it's there, use a USB Drive and back up your save.  When you get the next vehicle, do the same process.  Thus, when you reach 100%, all your vehicles will still be there.  If something ever disappears, you can just reload the previous save from the USB Drive and do the couple missions over again and obtain the vehicle again, etc.

I learned my lesson.  I've had a vehicle disappear from my garages in III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS and also out of my parking spaces in IV.  But in all these games I never officially lost the vehicle FOR GOOD, cuz I always had a backup save to reload which gave me the vehicle back, etc.  Never can someone be a collector without making back ups.  It just won't work.

Just started a new file, the problem with some of the missions is that they feel like more of a chore then "fun" (Most of the introductory missions, tow trucking,) and also shot one person in a RV blocking me during the mission where Amanda F*cked the tennis coach and of course 1* turns a 10 minute mission to a 25 minute clusterf*ck.
