Nope. Placebo-ish effect in action. Those people view things that aren't ghosts as ghosts because they've convinced themselves that they are real. If that makes sense..

Ah, that would be a picture of the "Brown Lady of Raynham Hall".

It's actually a photoshopped picture of a stairway with a blurred picture of a Virgin Mary statue superimposed on it.

Here : http://tailotherat.b...all-busted.html

Ghosts do not exist, the only thing that makes them "real" is our own mind.

No. This planet would be f*cking lousy with ghosts by now, and it'd pretty much be a proven fact.

Aliens, ghosts, what's gonna be the next thread? Do you believe in vampires? Is the government hiding witches?

What my thread? It isn't for "Do you believe in the paranormal" it's strictly for paranormal experiences.

To be honest, I don't know if I believe in the paranormal or not. Nothing that spooky has ever happened to me so I don't know.

There's probably a scientific explanation for every ghost sighting case.

HOW would it be physically possible? If the human soul is an abstract concept, how could it continue to exist as a non-solid, omnipotent being?

Same here.

So many stories for me to not have some belief in them.

people are f*cking stupid and don't generally understand the laws of physics or the physical properties of light and soundwaves.

people confuse TOTALLY explainable events for ghosts all the time.

no.

I don't believe in ghosts.

I presume that you're the type of moron who would blame a wide open door shutting by itself on the "wind" or the "house settling itself".

People always say no and bash the ghost theory until they witness one and then they change their mind. Happened to me.

Of course ghosts are real. If I got a white sheet, cut out some eye holes, placed it over my head going "Oooooo" you'd believe it right?

I've never experienced anything "paranormal" :( I used to think I had until I realized at the time and place I was basically creating what I wanted to THINK was a ghost. but it wasn't. I still think there are things that are unexplainable, so I won't flat out say no I don't believe in ghosts... it's just, so much has been fabricated that it's understandable that some people brush off the idea of the existence of ghosts. I absolutely love ghost stories & TV shows though.

I'd say no. Ghosts are theoretically impossible. I have never experienced anything paranormal. In 99% of the cases it's your mind that comes up with things like ghosts, because you see what you want to see.

There's probably a scientific explanation for every ghost sighting case.

I presume that you're the type of moron who would blame a wide open door shutting by itself on the "wind" or the "house settling itself".
So nowadays the person who doesn't believe in ghosts is the "type of moron"? I think you're not in the position to presume I'm a type of moron, unless it's a proven fact ghosts exist. I think there's ALWAYS a scientific explanation when people think ghosts are the cause.

I've seen documentations about ghost cases and often caught myself thinking "No way scientists can explain that", but a few moments later they did and it sounded plausible. They couldn't always explain everything, but no, that doesn't mean ghosts were involved and that there are no scientific explanations. It's possible that ghosts exist and do things as shutting doors etc., but as long as no one can prove the existance of ghosts and what they are capable of, no one knows for sure. And as long as this is the case, I for one prefer to not believe in ghosts. I don't think this classifies a person as a type of moron.
