Nobody cares about your hipster town

Now if they open some houses up with 10 car garages you better pepper your angus

Why should I be prepared? most of the people like you are not good at the game, just annoying.. you come trying to kill people that it's not there to harm you and in the end they'll end up f*cking you up because you can't even shoot.

You got me all figured out I see

I hope im lucky enough to never run into you

As the lawfully elected Mayor of our sovereign Paleto Bay, I like this fact.

I dont have a house in PB but I travel there all the time now when I see people in the area. Just to go and be friendly and see what they r all doing. I only go into combat if someone else decides to let lose.

I was there at night once and heard some NPCs outside the bar(females) talking aboot murdering her husband with a friend. All drunk lol

I dropped one of my 10 car pads in the city for a property out in Paleto based off of how few players actually venture out there.  Best investment I've made (in game)

I got bored of it and ended up trading in my house up there for a 10-car garage in East LS.  Since I have spawn location set to "last location", it doesn't really matter where my properties are since they're literally just car storage.  If I want to go there, I just drive or fly there.  No need for a house.

I need to move up there already but how would you deal with hosting RR from up there do you drive all the way down?

Pepper your angus....classic!!

On a side note, the only thing holding back Paleto Bay for me is the lack of an airstrip. Yes I know you can easily jump in a chopper and get to one, but I am waiting for the trailer trash DLC/update that gives me XXL living (6 car garage) with the meth heads and f*ck ups in Sandy Shores or the small area NW that has the small airstrip. Hell, I would even deal with the Lost junkies E of SS. I even secured the mullet just in case it happens.

Is the lack of an airstrip a problem because no airplanes are available nearby (and no spawn point for pegasus airplanes)?

If you just want a place to land that's not a problem, there's a perfectly good beach for that!

If there IS a spawn point for pegasus airplanes, sorry. I haven't purchased any airplanes yet and as such have not been able to order one while up there.

You're correct that there's no airstrip, but both Sandy Shores and Grapeseed airfields are not too far by air, and there's a helicopter spawn point at the Southern end of Paleto Bay that usually has helicopters there.  It's not a hardship not having an airstrip outside your front door.  Bearing in mind that there's only 1 in the city, living there would probably take you longer to get a plane.

PB will always be pretty peaceful.  Even if it has 10 car garages.

Its just tooo far up north..  It takes too long to get up there and then back to the city.

Its to easy to duck in side to avoid jets.. Its to easy to dirt bike up the mountain and lose tanks.  Its to easy to watch a  a hostile player come all the way up north for nothing...  Because if the players he's going for leaves the game hes stuck up north.. Alone.

I was in a session the other day and went up to the Bay and there were FOUR others up there. All were red dots but as I passed then the only thing fired at me was their fancy horns.

Country folk are nice folk :)

Think you quoted the wrong person.

If not, I know about the police station (I have a Buzzard, and they spawn there anyway). I also know that there's locations in sandy shores and grapeseed, but they're not very close. I wouldn't bother going to one of those places first with a chopper in order to get a plane there, might as well fly on to my destination.

Well I am not complaining about this. Means I can take my dirtbike, or my Blazer out and not have to worry, or even cruise around town in my Sabre Turbo making a little ruckus.

I bought the place right by the military base. Ammo and clothes, with a jet within a stones throw.

Isn't it weird? when R* gave us new properties in Paleto Bay, I thought that twankers, assholes and red dots in general were going to move out to any of these properties, but I guess I'm wrong.. lately I've been playng and I didn't even came across two players while in Paleto Bay.

Good thing they haven't found this gold mine. LSC, Clothes, Tatoos, Hair, Ammu Nation, all in a 3 blocks ratio.

Maybe it's because of the lack of hookers on this side of the map.. ;)

No, I quoted the right person.  I was just explaining how, to me, the lack of airstrip wasn't an issue.  2 minutes (at most) to get to an airstrip is fine by my standards.

It wasn't for me either, which is why it looked like you were quoting the wrong poster. The poster I initially responded to brought up the matter of there not being an airstrip.

Like I said in that post, I don't have pegasus airplanes yet so I have no use for a spawning point. I said you could land on the beach just fine and since there's choppers (/a spawn) in town, I can easily leave as well.

I still don't think there would be a mass migration up north if there was a 10 car garage in Paleto Bay. Most players stick inside the city, I doubt they would go up north. Besides, it would be harder for them to do their *sshole routine of being a griefing d*ckhead! If a twanker comes, we can simply either take cover in certain areas of the town, or drive up to Mount Chiliad. The only way to get a tank up to the top of the mountain is via Cargobob. If they tried driving up on their sh*tty super car, they would likely drive off the side of the mountain due to their incompetent driving!

I hope they do add a 10-Car House up there eventually, I don't know if there might be vehicles with future DLC that I might want so I don't have to buy another 10-Car Garage if I brought a six car garage, or part with a vehicle I like. If we got a third property, I would be fine with a Six-Car House there.

I love it. Only trouble I ever had up there was when some moron in his zentorno try to blow me up for not getting into his stupid vehicle. Why is that always the response when you refuse to ride in someone else's car?

My God. This happened to me too

OT: I guarantee the second there is an apartment with a 10 car garage up there it will be flooded by Chrome Adder assholes

PB will not become a warzone even with a 10 car garage.  Here is why.

1) The people living there will run to the military base because its easier to get to.

2) With the Lazer they'll go grief the city.

3) Other than the cars you bring.  The cars that spawn there are horrid.

It's because it's only a 6 car garage, so those with 10 car garages aren't willing to sacrifice 4 cars for a new location. The moment a 10 car garage is made in Paleto...it'll happen. Trust me on that one.

I get it, it's sure hard to sacrifice 4 gold adders with dollar rims for some people.

Why people so angry about the new money glitch ? i mean its just a game , please lol

I love it and hope it never changes, well maybe open a few of the bigger houses and give them 10 car garages.

I wanted to have a spot up here since oct. no kidding. even as a car guy who nearly cried (jk) while selling off four cars, I haven't regretted it for even a second. in fact my surfer and bobcat are getting much more use now that I am able to cruise around without worry of having to outrun a chradder or the like.

Uhhh....I picked up a Hooker in Paleto a couple days ago.  Then proceeded to take the Short way back to the city.  She wasn't appreciative.  Next time, I'll just jump out of my car at the crest of the Mt. and she can die in a fiery ball of metal and rubber.

Don't forget the psychic cops who's base is right at the end of town. Not too much room to escape to, and a long trip back to the city for impounded rides after they've ultimately capped you.

Not too much worry though, it's one of those unwritten GTAO rules. Salute means respect, Adders are Sticky Bomb magnets and Paleto Bay is "holy ground".
