R* had failed to make a glitch free game. Sure it's nearly impossible, but nevertheless it's their responsibility.

If players can perform an in-game action/series of actions without manipulating the game code or using unauthorized hardware, and make money from it...that should be allowed.

Gaming standards were much higher back in the day. We couldn't glitch. There were no glitches.

Now though were in the 21st century, we all eat too much and were lazy and this flows to the lazy developers.

No, but in the days of Super Hang-On on the Sega Megadrive (Genesis for USA folks) where you 'saved' your game by writing down a code, I did manage to figure out how to alter the code for more money.  Meant I could get all the bike upgrades earlier in the game.

Anyways, to answer the OP, I'm fairly certain that there will be a clause in the terms of use that allows them to take corrective action against glitchers.

What? Don't know what world you came from, there have always been glitches. Most of them, while harder to do, were completely game-breaking back in the day.

OP. a glitch free game is damn near impossible.
Also how does eating too much correlate with making a video game?

Actually, it is your responsibility to not take advantage of an in-game issue, not Rockstar.
Just because it is there does not mean you should abuse it.

Yeah, it's true that rockstar is at fault for all these glitches, but that sure doesn't mean you have to abuse them and then blame rockstar after you get caught. Rockstar employees are only human after all. If you take advantage of these glitches you risk punishments, that's how it works. This is coming from a glitcher by the way.

It's YOUR responsibility to accept the consequence of your actions and to not break the law.

If some woman leaves her handbag out in the open, and you steal it, it's her responsibility to not leave it out?  No, it's your responsibility to not steal it, fa**ot.

It's all you little kids that have a boring suburban life, and you think you are so cool that you can hack a game and get all this "free" money and look cool and gain respect from your friends. Then when you get banned and have your console reset, you cry and cry to Rockstar to unban you because your entire world is crumbling around you now that you have no GTA$ anymore.

Heists are always going to be delayed because of all the exploit patching Rockstar has to do. They have to wait for the coding and patching team to finish before the mission team can add in and test the missions.  But they can't do it when the coding team is infinitely patching exploits from you little f*ckers.

Not to mention that back then games were nearly impenetrable when it comes to glitches and the like.

But then online gaming came to play, and developers started to get the "I'll fix it with a patch later on" attitude. That's what we're seeing right now with GTA:O.

if you are using parts of the game code or holes therein outside of their intended use, its not allowed.

and thats what a glitch is. a hole in the code, so to speak.

This, this and this.

I don't even know how the hell people find such obscure glitches in the first place. But usually DomisGlitching makes a video and all the kids start doing it, making problems for Rockstar.

Theft isn't the fault of the victim, it's the lack of self control or respect for the rules. And people seem to think that it is ok to cheat just because it is a game. Try cheating in a professional sport and you will be punished or even banned. It is no different with this.

Yeah. Not really sure how they didn't test the "park-Pegasus-vehicle-in-front-of-your-garage-find-hooker-place-car-in-location-where-no-cars-open-kill-hooker-drive-into-garage-rearrange-car-manuever". Idiots. All of 'em.

Nooooo, It's R*'s job to find and patch the exploits.

It's your job to have self control.

It's their responsibility to fix them, yes, you're right. But it is also their right(that you have agreed to) to punish those who abuse it.

It just the same as an existing exploit, just with the hooker in place of a player-controlled character.

(And to be slightly fair, in the 3D era titles, during the same thing allowed you to get unobtainable vehicles from missions.)

To the OP:

"You wouldn't steal a handbag. You wouldn't steal a car. You wouldn't steal a baby. You wouldn't shoot a policeman. And then steal his helmet. You wouldn't go to the toilet in his helmet. And then send it to the policeman's grieving widow. And then steal it again!"
