I think R* is letting this happen and no one will get banned for using these in-game glitches. People are tired of grinding the same missions. Heists have been a bust. R* knows this. They probably figure hey if their glitchin atleast they are still playing the game. They need to drag this game out as long as they can.

That makes NO sense.
If they were charging money for DLC, then yes it would make sense.

Why would they let you glitch and cheat so you keep playing and have NO chance of buying cash cards - their only source of revenue for GTA Online.

People seem to come up with some really hairbrained ideas to justify cheating.
It's against the TOU, ergo, it's wrong.

There is little grey areas when it comes to rules. Maybe... MAYBE, glitching money back you lost due to bugs - but bugs such as those are far and few between now.

I don't think quote is working right for me :-/

Back in the day, R* didn't need revenue from a bullsh*t scam microtransaction system, they were satisfied with the millions they got from y'know, selling the actual f*cking game.

Considering this has been their best selling game in the franchise, I fail to see where they haven't made their money. There's nothing that states where the money goes to either, most likely straight into corporate's pockets and the game itself never gets a dime of it put back in. If you think it takes major resources to create a couple new vehicles and throw in a random rifle with a pistol and a new melee weapon you're extremely dense.

You people who claim they need to make money off GTA Online as if we all didn't pay $60 just to f*cking play it. Don't try and pull that whole "GTAO is a separate, free game" bullsh*t R* tries to pull, it's a f*cking joke. That'd be like one of Activision's developers like Infinity Ward or Treyarch trying to claim that the MP in CoD is a different game from the campaign and try and make unlocking things extremely hard but offer an option to just buy them. It's f*cking bullsh*t. Pretty much all games have an online mode and they're not considered a separate entity from the campaign/story, why the f*ck do people think GTA should be different?

If that were the case, why can't we download a digital version of it for free? Why did they have to include it on the GTA V disc if it's supposedly a separate game? Then the microtransaction sh*t would make sense because it's a free game they're relying on players buying the cash cards to actually profit from it. But they didn't and it's too late for that now.

10 m is the limit..just dont go overboard..stock up a few duped adders or stinger GT in a 10-car  garage (to sell if ever you got short)..who needs 100 m? seriously..

Exactly. Some people are greedy and then just end up getting caught.

I will say to all i was banned after 1.13. BUT no email notification or reason explained. Simply a 2 week timer. After the two weeks I returned to the hundreds of millions and all vehicles remaining.

Now, I don't know if the ban was a glitch or because i lagswitch bought a few cargobobs. nevertheless it can happen. The confusing part, why leave me with all the money and items?

Use at your own risk....

Glitches have been around since day1 and people still buy cash cards so one has nothing to do with the other. The games been out for a while so naturally cash card sales are dropping. If your glitchin your probably not grinding because well it sucks. If it werent for glitches how many people would have quit playing the game already? If people stop playing the game becomes stale and no one buys cash cards.

what are the hovering helicopter and baggage truck glitches?

Sorry, I remembered wrongly. The Baggage Handlers glitch is is the hovering helicopter glitch. It was a capture mission and all you had to do was grab the briefcase, get in a chopper, hover above the target and boom, RP floodgates are open.

You better stop glitching, because R* might get mad. They want you to buy those shark cards and these new glitches(specially that prostitute glitch) are ruining their "shark card business". I expect some drastic punishement and changes after patch 1.16

>I feel cheated

This is the same pervasive attitude that goes around with real people in real situations of your everyday life.  Someone didn't get that promotion they wanted, so he or she take it upon themselves to sue for sexual harassment or discrimination.  Another signs a contract in which the terms were clearly agreed upon, but then turns around and sues the other party for unconscionable conditions.  I'm generalizing here, but it's the boy who cried wolf.  That's the line of reasoning you're making for glitching in-game money, and it's sad.

This is the sort of reasoning that 12 year-old's use.  Nobody owes you anything in this world, OP, and the sooner you realize that, the sooner you'll grow up.  Rockstar doesn't owe you anything.  Period.

Love,
Mom

I understand where you're coming from, but it's just a game. Your salary isn't dependent upon it,nor does it pay your bills. Its a recreational hobby. People cheat in games, but that has no relation to cheating in real life.
