Rigging problem!

Hello there! I've been attempting to swap two ped heads. I've been following the tutorial completely but for some reason the skins come out looking disformed with no solid bone structure:

Also I've noticed when I import any DFF into 3Ds Max (2015) - When I just try to rotate the head, it rotates the whole body! I think that's the problem. Could someone shed some light please?

So in order to finish the rigging you have to fix this. You will need to read Creative_Madman's tuto here:

The bones are already added to the skin when I first import the DFF as you can see here, this is me starting up:

 

Importing the skin.

Rotating the skin:

When I rotate the skin, it doesn't move with the bones see?

Is that my problem is or there something else causing my skins to come out retarded?

it's because skin isn't rigged correct
post a screenie that shows the spline and their attached vertices also one that shows spline1 and their attached vertices

But thats the same for the default ped skins! It's confusing af. lol
