Hello,

isn't "Vice city" just a nickname for Miami? I mean The City of "Vice" is in Florida (real state, obviously) but on the logo it is not Vice City but Vice city - so maybe it was just a nickname for Miami (but they changed the name of the city later) and the logo remained unchanged? Look:

It is not Vice City but VIce city, and vice = bad habit. So maybe it was GTA: City of bad habits (Miami).

Lol.

How can you tell if that's a capital V? And yes, this has been discussed before. Rockstar had to name the city somehow. :p

Well if it's "vice city" then this can't be a name for a town :) Can you give me link to the discussion, please?

What do you mean?

Can you give me link to the discussion, please?

I don't have any links, I just know it's been up for discussion before.

Writing name of a town/city with small letters is quite wrong.

I do it all the time, but then again my town is a pretty sh*t one. The only time I capitalize the name of my town is if I'm writing my address down or something, but in casual conversation, I usually don't.

I'll admit though, "Vice" is an odd name for a city.

Well, the word "Vice" meaning; "immoral or wicked behavior", "criminal activities involving prostitution, pornography or drugs.",

"an immoral or wicked characteristics".

Sooo, I think that (if I understood what you meant) the word "Vice" (being also Miami Vice inspired)

is an appropriate name for a city in a Grand Theft Auto video game. :pp

Pretty much. Unless I'm being formal, I'll write it "Ormond Beach", but if I were just regularly writing something like this, I'd just put down ormond beach. That kind of stuff confuses me. Do you capitalize the "B" in "Beach" along with the "O" in "Ormond", or just leave the "B" in "Beach" be?

Capitalize it. It's still a part of the name, and the name is a proper noun.
