recovering site.

I know this site, its gone now and i dont remember the url, but i got a file that the site hosted, is there any way to find the url?

How unique is the file name?  If it is a unique enough name you might be able to just search engine the file name and it will lead you to the old(dead) url.

 

Other then that it is pretty stinking hard to track down a URL from a file.

I have more than a file, but they was in an archive in the site, I don't have the archives, only the files, but I know who created it and what's inside...
