I think after setting things right at the end, he was betrayed by Cesar and shot dead. But Sweet escaped to LC. What do you think?

There is no reason in hell why he'd be betrayed by Cesar. In his place I'd rather put my life in the hands of Cesar than in the hands of Sweet.

There's more of a chance he died by listening to Sweet's dumb ass and going off to defend another hood or something. But overall, it depends on the path the rest of them took. Ideally, they'd all listen to his sister and Wu and move to LV to enjoy life and control their business empire from there. But we all know Sweet would never leave and CJ would follow Sweet over anything else so.. I'd say his sister and Cesar went back to SF and lived a more normal life, while CJ stayed in the hood because Sweet demanded it from him, and occasionally went to visit.

Well, he is proabably still alive in the 3D Universe LS, I don't see him being dead or anything. His age in Moden Day 2014 shoud be about 46.

I think that he was shot to death by a Balla assasin sent by Bogman, the Balla leader. Sweet then sent some of his loyal GSF homies to go across the state rampaging, killing any Balla/Vago/Rifa/Mafia/Russian in their way.

The FBI or CIA probably arrested him. These agencies were actually keeping files on hip-hop stars of the nineties, so imagine what a real gangster with a lot of property, a dead police officer's blood on his hands, and connections to Madd Dog (a gangsta rapper) would mean to the U.S. government.

If not, there is no evidence for what he would've really done with his life.

I've always felt that he would have been killed by Salvator Leone sooner or later. I mean the Leone family is twice as powerful as the GSF, and CJ and Sal left on far from friendly terms.

I think either Salvatore or Toreno would order a kill - Sal for the reasons you gave, and Toreno because he'd want to cover his tracks and if he wanted to start up the drugs trade again, he'd need to get rid of CJ and Sweet.

I remember reading a theory that CJ was the "made man" Toni Cipriani had to kill, thus giving him a reason to lay low and return to the city in 1998. I hope that theory's true, seeing as I didn't like CJ very much and, as mentioned above, Salvatore wanted him dead, so why not send in Toni to do the work?

Normally the term "made man" is used in the case of the Italian Mafia, so part of me doubts that CJ would have been the guy.

But that said it's never actually stated in-game that what he did is kill a made man. All that's stated in-game is that he did a job for Salvatore and had to lay low. So he may or may not have gone into hiding for killing CJ. We'll never know either.

Who's to say that in that case. "made man" specifically means someone in the mob? Going by different definitions of it, CJ really had it "made" after San Andreas, owning an airstrip, managing a rapper, having a share in a major casino, and so forth. I dunno how accurate Rockstar was with their mob research around that time, though. I know IV's mobs were more historically accurate as far as terms and ranks went over the III era's.

By now, CJ must be relaxing on the beach of Santa Maria. Might have given up crime-life too I guess.
