Have been owning my house in Paleto Bay for a while now and I quite recently started spawning there every time I go online because I've decided to live there from now on. Less than a week ago I moved my coke business from Alamo Sea to Paleto Bay and I'm happy with that because I love PB regardless of the far distances. I love its beautiful nature, it has almost everything you need there and whenever I'm there I feel pretty safe and far away from all the sickheads in LS. My clubhouse and other businesses are still in Grand Senora Desert and one is in the city but I don't really use them anymore so I don't have to move them all to PB and waste money. Instead I may just move my clubhouse to PB soon and leave the rest even though I don't visit my clubhouse that often.

had a house there. but then i decided to create a rental garage. and as i hate the office garage, i had to sell my Paleto house for a big garage at Richard Majestic. my yacht is still anchored there though. i go there to take a nap from time to time. it's generally calm out there

I like Paleto Bay for it's small mountain town feel,
Would of been great to have open bars and motel accommodation interiors.

Country activities like mountain climbing hiking, camping, fishing, hunting ect.

It's a missed opportunity not to have those features especially when you want to escape for the weekend from cut throat murder capital known as Los Santos.

Having hunting available in gtao would be a dream come true. There is many simple thing from SP that they could have just put into gtao and would have made it so much better.

Imagine having something as simple as the ability to rent a Motel room in Paleto Bay for the weekend,
I know you can buy properties up there,
but little neat everyday features would add to the whole getting away from it all feel.
Hunting trips would be so good,

Stalking rare animals and maybe an escaped killer on the loose.
The possibilities are endless if Rockstar really got their act together.

Imagine if they had a way to run a snapmatic competition by announcing for example, that throughout one month, anybody who managed to snap something like a big cat in the wild and upload it to social club would get a cash reward. They could code it so the animal or whatever only appeared at certain times of day for a short period, and you had to be really lucky to catch it. Would be neat.

That's an excellent idea about the snapmatic competition,
Would be amazing to catch Bigfoot on camera for a big cash prize too.

Biggest selling point about Paleto is that there are only a sparse amount of players. I wouldn't advertise it openly, just do some word-to-mouth type of deal ;)

I was 100% all for all of this for so long... I'd love a hut in the woods to hunt from.

RDR2 coming... I can see them holding these things for that game.

I have noticed with the new Gunrunning update that ALOT of people have purchased the cheap Paleto Bay bunkers and as such it is becoming a lot more active.

I personally have my Office at MAZE and Farmhouse Bunker

I decided to set up my MC in Paleto and hope to eventually buy all 5 businesses up there - I have two at the moment and will just open the ones I feel like running as and when and shut down the others.

I enjoy the idea of the small mountian town flooding the big LS City with Cocaine and Fake Notes - I only ever deal to Blaine Country if I've got full stock

Why not move to another location like Grand Senora Desert for example? That would make it closer to supply runs.

Paleto is a beautiful place, but for a player who likes invite only or public solo it's only good for variety. Everything is peaceful when you're alone. Another nice location to park a Yacht is mt. Gordo lighthouse. Amazing views and almost primal seclusion: one approach road, no event related spawn points nearby, just big plain nothing with a lighthouse.

It is a fine place. If you never want anything to happen. Ever.

The bunker is very busy - I chose it for the nearby Pegasus spawning pad, the nearby ammo shop, and my crappy second house with tiny garage just down the road.

I feel as I appear to share my bunker with other players that we should all get along and be bunker buddies, maybe throw a few underground raves and phone up some of the locals for some baths full of moonshine, but there they all are with guns and bombs ready to blast me whenever I exit. Oh well. It used to be such a nice neighbourhood.
