you said   (Used it on a original Tommy model once and got the same results)   I'm just saying NO you did not get the same result

Ontopic i started baking the detail from the sculpted mesh hopefully this has improved the texture and made it more realistic,  Also @ prince gumball i used the cutscene mesh to get some of the proportions more accurate but i think personally i'm happy with the new result

Whether it is smooth with tampered settings, or turbosmooth, I did get results such as the model you used. My ONLY goal was to ask you, since it could be edited from there, I don't get how that could insult you actually. But moving on....

i wasn't insulted i was just curious to why you would think i would turbosmooth my model, since that is a dated method and does no real use to anyone, but yeah all i'm saying constructive criticism will help alot, it really does after all i wish to learn and improve my skills, but thanks none the less for taking time to analyse the model perhaps some suggestions ?

(could match the picture itself to fit 100%, due to stretching, but still looks good.) Looks better, the face matches, just the accessories and it should be fine. :p

I gonna be honest here it needs more work i really feel like it was rushed.Tommy didn't look like that.He looks like he's on crack right now.

I'm normally not one to complain about many character mods, but the mouth and eyes on those latest screenshots are just extremely odd. :p

I honestly like this one but, it doesn't look like Tommy at all. Looks more like the beta version of Toni for LCS, hey, maybe you should try doing that in a higher quality too! Good luck with your project.

I will help you fix the eyes tomorrow along with other features. You did good today and learnt some fundamentals. 

I see a huge improvement for ONE days work.

The new one is definitely much more realistic, but not really looking like Tommy though. Keep trying and good luck.

• The proportions are very similar.

• A simple overlay gives you an idea.

• Even in the Rockstar sketch they've held true to a common portrait rule: The distance between the eyes is the same distance as the width of one eye.

• The distance between the eyes on your Tommy is too far. Notice the second set of guidelines, the overlay of the Rockstar media says your eyes, and Rockstars eyes are about the same width, they just need to be higher, and closer together. 

• To be honest his mouth should move upwards a bit, inwards (in 3/4 view) and his jaw should go nearly straight back from his chin to the base of his jawbone. 
• In a perfect level sideview: Top of ears should correspond to height of eyebrows. bottom of ears corresponds to bottom tip of nose. Usually upper/lower lip height is the distance between tip of nose and top of top lip.

• Tommie's head shape is about perfect in your render.

• Hair looks kickass.

• He looks a little too hispanice. Even Ray Liotta doesn't really look like Tommy Vercetti. hah.

To be honest, it looks like he was partially modeled from a Robert Redford typed face, aka, Brad Pitt's older doppleganger. The 3/4 side view of his jaw should look more like this:

@PacketOVerload_x64Bit (that's a mouthful), Thank you so much for actually helping him. 

He's trying to improve and people never give constructive crit... they just say things are sh*t and then wonder why there's not many good artists on GTA forums.

We need more people like you to help encourage these artists who have potential. 

 

Here Cautious, I helped give him a Tommy vibe (Kinda Charlie Sheen) haha
