replace GTA IV car with own 3DS Max car

hello this is my first post so be gentle please!


so  I have modeled my car in 3d studio max and want to enter it into the world of GTA. I have looked around and found videos of how to get cars out of gta and pre made car in but 

how would I set my car up ready to go in. etc pivot points,constraints, steering, suspension 


any help would be much appreciated

For converting vehicles for gta iv, I suggest you to use Z Modeler 2.

I think there is max script called ofio that supports wft open formats, but I didn't work with that and don't know it work properly with vehicles or not.


Vehicles format in gta iv in wft, and you can use z modeler 2 to convert your 3d car model to game.


I suggest you import one of gta iv original cars to zmodeler and take a look at it's hierarchy and materials
