So i just installed san andreas on my new pc, and I'm having some really weird texture issues. There are giant black stripes everywhere, flickering textures everywhere, and so on. At first I though that it was caused by a mod, but I completely removed all mods, and reinstalled the game, and I'm still having the same issues, so I think it might be driver related. (I have an amd 7770). I'm not experiencing issues like this with other games btw.

Could work. It's a trial and error method though. So you might have to try a fair bit amount of different driver versions until you find one that works perfectly.

I have the same problem (http://imgur.com/a/wNagr#0)

I own the original Steam version, I haven't downgraded it, no mods installed, freshly reinstalled, tried verifying the cache. I have a similar GPU (HD-7850) and use the latest 14.6 drivers, I'm going to try and revert to the latest stable drivers and inform y'all whether it works.

Edit: Followed this guide (http://support.amd.c...icsDrivers.aspx) to uninstall the drivers, all the textures in the game are fine now, I'm gonna try and install 14.4, because newer games would probably run a bit crappy without new drivers.

You installed the game and it already had mods installed?
Which version of the game did you get?
Are you playing with the DVD in the drive?
Didn't you play the game before the Mods were installed?
Did you install the game or just copy it from the other PC?
What is your operating system?
Have you tried 'compatibility mode' (XP)?

Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better)
 384(+) MB of RAM
 16x DVD-ROM drive
 4.7 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install
 128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better)
 DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card
 Game pad** with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port)
 Keyboard & Mouse

So I need to completely uninstall the drivers, and not install other ones?

I'll try that, thanks
