I read from somewhere in this forum that it's analogous to the louvres on the Dominator.

Not even a tank is bullet proof just takes time to get through but i can imagine that it might block some of the impact, i wouldn't really know cause i don't like the car that much, performance wise.

Much like the ones on the Dominator, they are visual only; bullets go right through.

its 50/50,  the louvers DO block bullets, they add less chance of being hit as there is less window showing but there is still a 50 percent chance of passing through

Louvers do not look good on the car though.I hope we can install armor plates that rises up like the James Bond's DB5.

That is the case with cars that have louvres by default; those do deflect bullets. However, cars that have the option as an add on, the louvres themselves are aesthetic and have no substance to deflect any bullets. Try it. Bullets just pass right through the actual slats of the louvres, not just the space between. Same goes for the add-on trash in the back of the Ratloader; just for show.

It's the same as the Dominator, 50/50 just what hentai posse said. So I'd think it's 50/50 with the Pigalle too. I have them on my Dominator & half the time I'm shot at in freeroam, bullets do & don't go through.

I tested this with a weedy pistol and got a one shot kill. So no, they're entirely visual and have no effect.

Still keeping them; they look cool with the skis.

Oh, as for all the customised back screens being ineffective: Jester. They work on that.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Jester. Those louvres work for bullet deflection.
