The track is too long which make the race is very easy to win


I failed during my first attempt. :p
Maybe because of the bug that happenned to me..

Played those six missions. You were right about improvements. Learning from mistakes in previous projects made this mission-pack very special and unique. Well, let's start detailed from first mission.

 

  • In first mission, it really showed beginning of an very interesting mission-pack. Playing other successful mission-packs, you can identify their style, just like i did here. Your style is amazing, something i couldn't find in your previous missions. It was more than typical introduction mission, well done animations  & mixing it with cutscene, especially player animations what many people doesn't even use for some reason. From the first mission, you strongly started following realism in story & gameplay, what seemed good.

 

  • About second mission, that's where the story started. Following Yakuza's car to their base was good idea. When arriving there, i noticed many little details, good use of objects that made atmosphere really unique. The result is shown from your hard work you put in those missions. Idea, how story should look like, was implemented greatly. Also, good things from previous mission stayed further. Sometimes, route of actor goes crazy and he lost  his path, though it's DYOM error, so it's not a big problem.

 

  • In third mission, action finally started. Preparing for race and starting the race looked like ProDX34's work. It's easy too see where creator took idea from. Overall race was going good, well done routes, objects around on map and so on. Sometimes, there started to appear grammar mistakes that would be really lame to state as a mistake since they are really minior. Plot continued and it was great implement. 

 

  • Fourth mission, however, with good things from previous missions (good use of objects, animations, cutscene) included heavier gameplay this time, but it seemed like 'there's too much'. Also, it  somehow drove off the path with realism. As soon Yakuza comes to Nate's house, they start attacking you, but in exchange you don't have anything to defend. There was no check point, only timeout objectives that continued dialogue. They got back up and starting shooting, however, after phone conversation, new car spawns and says 'Get in the car'. The problem was, many players would possibly get into non-objective car and drive away, but then they would need to come back. Anyway apart from this, good idea about bringing enemies to airport, but it could be done better also. When you come to the airport, you have to kill enemies there and previous enemies in vehicles, though some of them crashed somewhere, and they are at second part of the city. Anyway, these are issues just because of lack of DYOM skills. I'm not saying anything bad about you, it will get better as time goes, and you design more missions. Overall, plot stayed good, just little overused shootouts.

 

  • Mission five, Running Time, also drove off the road with realism, but creativity and uniques was better done. As always, great use of objects and effects. It really added on missions. As soon as enemies get into Donald's house, you kill them and get outside through the window, to the roof. You have to win the enemies. Because of many objects and pickups, you have higher chance of surviving. Making good use of covers, but i saw pickups little overused. I don't think there needs to be many of them, otherwise, you could pass mission far more easier. Anyway, mission was great. Full of action, running around with Guo.

 

  • Sixth mission, Revenge begins, hardly tried to follow good things from previous mission, but failed at some points. This is the first time where the plot started falling, regardless it's just a small mistake. In previous mission we found out that Wing has Nate's family. And in this mission, you just basicly destroyed their base, by killing many of enemies and trowing the bomb. That wasn't really realistic. Someone gets your family, and you have to talk to him what he wants so he will let your family go, instead you come to his base and destroy everything. Even joining forces with their biggest enemies, Triads. Anyway maybe next missions will have explanation for this, or i just didn't take the plot so good. Apart from this, i think there were many enemies in one 'round'. I think it could work better if you separated it in waves, however this is just my opinion. 

 

Overall, i enjoyed far more than playing your previous missions. You improved on many aspects, plus adding uniques to it makes MP even better. Apart from some things i mentioned, grammar mistakes in some missions, sometimes too many shootouts, it's great. Result of hard work is great. Missions are far more better than previous ones. Also, i will include your hard work in rating, you really deserve it, as much as you improved aslo!

Thank you for your review ANDREJ98, I realy aperciated it, altough without the advices that you gave me in my previous MP I couldn't make this good one :)

Your english grammer in all missions of this MP is good as compared to your previous MP. Keep up!

Good

Good placement of actors and vehicles and objects.

Perfect

Mission is about 5-10 minutes which is perfect for every long mission

Medium

The mission was somehow easy, but at the end when the yakuza backups coming it's little bit of hard to me but I like it.

 

Variety [/]

Perfect

The variety of your missions are now very better as compared to your previous MP's and now in this MP it's perfect Keep up!

Alright, the missions are great but when i go to Lee's office there's no interior: i mean that there are a couple of objects but apart from that it's all black and there are no actors (i saw them falling).

Also, on ''special meeting'' , when you have to get on top of the building, the checkpoint isn't there. I checked better, and i saw that the red thing was near the pool, while the map told me it was up. I think it's because checkpoints can't stand on top of custom objects.

Also: Can't wait for the DLC!

sh*t, I forget to mention that to play Special meeting, you need to download and install this mod. It gives you the ability to enter all the interiors and I used it to enter Woozie's room in The Four Dragons casino. Also about the second mission, it worked fine for me but maybe you're right so I'll try to fix that later. The DLC will be published as soon as I'm done with this MP, it will take places  in Liberty City and it will contain around 30 missions as I planed. Anyway, thanks for your feedback I aperciate it :)

EDIT: First mission of Chapter 2 will be a great mission and it'll be a mission that almost everyone liked it in chapter 1.

I played the MP, and I liked it, the story is really catching and I would like to play the DLC, waiting for it ^^

It was awesome, but it has some bugs and some parts are really repetitive or annoying, if you can repair those bugs it would be cool, but apart from that is well made ;) I liked your job man

, it had to be released yesterday but due to some bugs and laziness the mission will be released today or tommorow cuz the game crashed when I almost finished the mission and I didn't f*cking save it so I'm remaking it now.

Played it! Great, loved all of it. Probably the best one yet, and one of the best missions i've ever played.

The only problem is the interior: i installed the mod but the actors still fall down (it's also kinda funny to watch...).

Oh, also: nice reference with the sprunk bottle and the ball.

Cutscenes like the standard game? They look like any other cutscenes to me. Am i missing something?

I played last 3 missions of Chapter 1 and i just completed playing chapter 1.
  • In the mission One step, you have to fix bugs in interiors and explosions. I guess you used mods, that's ok but you should make it optional, so other players doesn't have to use mods for playing your missions (different point at total conversations). Actors falling in interior, and after cutscene, outside of casino car starts burning in cutscene, and just when cutscene ends, car explodes and kill you. Those bugs made mission quite unplayable.
  • Second mission has same problems as the previous one so i couldn't even pass it. Also, the story seems to started falling down. Nate is working with Triads andgets more respect from them as he does jobs for them, but it looks like he doesn't care for his family. Like he forgot about it, although he says he care, what's he doing shows different status of his personality. I already warned  you about progression of the story before, now it's just shooting around, and becomes too repetitive.
  • And the third has same bugs as the previous two, though this time after cutscene ended, i managed to escape but all other triads got killed and cars exploded. Player was supposed to follow triads and come to certain destination, and now when they got killed i didn't know where to go. Those three missions need highly improvements and fixing bugs. They are mostly unplayable and about gameplay, repetitive. Story seems to get progression but also drove off the path with main thing (family) and realism. I'll play second chapter later and see what you improved. Also rating will include only those three missions.

Thanks for your review A98. I was disapoined but it's the truth. As always, I'm stupid in making good routepoints for the actors. Also I've used a mod and I told Juice about it. Here is the mod. About One Last Step, it worked so fine man and this bug didn't even happen to me neither to Huzaifa who made a review for it. Nate didn't forget his family man. He'll save them, soon. In the next few missions in Chapter 2, you'll find the answers. Oh and from now on, I won't be designing with mods. I'll use that restaurant in the Four Dragons as a meeting place.
