Ironically I'm a ardent socialist so the kind of life my GTA character lives with super cars, lavish apartments and cars he never drives is the kind of life I despise.

I do sometimes laugh at myself that I'm driving about in a $2.25m car with the socialist star on the side :D

And even putting that aside, I think anyone who would want to live that life wouldn't be posting on a GTA forum but would be sitting in a prison right now! Not many people live that life without losing everything and serving a long stretch or receiving a fatal gun shot at some point.

Just look at Pablo Escobar, lived a lavish lifestyle in front of the whole public to see ($30 BILLION he made. 30 BILLION DOLLARS just let that sink in), everyone knew what he was up to but he was more or less untouchable untill authorities closed in on him and he shot himself.

Mind you, Escobar also had a reputation as being a bit of a robin hood type of character as well and was sincerely loved by all in his home town who he both protected and looked after.

No.

Even if you live in Invite-only and have everything, this life is bleak. All you can eat is sweets, the traffic is being a suicidal jerk, you are confined on a island and you see no purpose in existing. All you can do is earning and spending money and when you've got everything, you will be likely to get heavily depressed and will have suicidal thoughts - but you won't be able even to end all this, you might spend eons tormenting yourself before someone takes mercy on you and shuts down the servers.

Life in San Andreas is, ultimately, hell.

Just figured out a huge mystery. Clearly GTA is The Truman Show!!! Explains why we can never leave, why I some times see the EXACT same car drive by over and over again!!! The EXACT same pedestrians in different places at the same time! We should all spend 10 hours sailing out till we find the edge and leave, taking our GTA characters away from all these actors and into the great big world R* has kept us from all these years.

I'm a millionaire, who owns a McLaren P1, as well as a few dozen other expensive cars. Yes, yes I would, and I'm immortal.

I would just have to deal with the gender change.

Yes of course, because the character I created is the woman of my dreams. And I would like to be her and enjoy the lavish lifestyle that I live, fast cars, lots of money, natural beauty, hanging out with other people and passive mode.

Would I want to be a part-time FBI consultant and CEO of Audi? Definitely.

Do I want to live alone? No. I already am alone, and it's worse than getting killed repeatedly. I don't want it to be indefinite.

That's funny coz I actually work for Audi in IRL Getting blown up every time I drive my super outside? Going to the shops and someone has already robbed the joint? No thanks.

Set foot in a world were every one else wants to kill you. One step out of your appartment and you are stepping in a warzone. Your partners in crime are usually total morons. If you pull a succesful score, they want to shoot you in the back.

Live immortal. Take a shotgun blast to the face and laugh it off. But you can not have kids.

Have millions in the bank, but you are confined to flats.

Give me the red pill.

Wouldn't mind his money and cars, but being confined to that one island and having to live with you pricks is a dealbreaker for me.
