How to place pre-existing GTA IV models in a map?

I'm currently working on a small GTA IV map and I was wondering how I would use pre-existing GTA IV models in it, so it loads them from the game's files.

This is the one thing I can't quite wrap my head around yet, It's probably a lot simpler than I'm making it out to be, though.

 

And if it helps, using 3DS Max with GIMS IV and I made the basis of it in PixelActive Cityscape.

i have the same facking question for many years now... I made a map in 3DS Max, put it in GTAIV, but i had no idea how to use a pre-existing GTA IV model such as a damn tree, a road, a lamp post or something simple like that... so i decided that mapping in GTA IV was simply a bad idea....

 

And i really dont understand the reason why there is no Mapper for GTA IV (like other previous gta games) , since all the file formats can be read and be modded....

 

It would be great if i could get some answers...
