  • You play as Toni Cipriani, a member of the Leones
  • The game is set 3 years before GTA III.
  • Some missions can be fun.
  • There is a good enough vehicle choice
  • Weapons are good enough. Ranging from Pistols to Miniguns.
  • Gangs are not that dangerous, many carry pistols only.

What else do you need to know? Trying not to spoil the story :)

You can't swim and you can't fly, which shouldn't be a game breaker for anyone.

The controls are awful, even in the PS2 port. I bought a PSP just to play this, and when it finally came out, I was disapointed by the poor storyline, weak characters, and terrible controls. Vice City Stories for the PS2 ranks with the rest of the PS2 era games, though. If you wanted to experience Vice City, I'd actually pick VCS over VC. Liberty City is best experienced in III.

No, You can fly. There are a lot of glitches for stealing helicopter ;) No need for jailbreaker or mod.

If you enjoyed working for the mafia in III you'll love this game.

I just finished LCS, first I go through VC, then VCS ;)

Yup, it's sweet.

Why? That'd be like playing LCS before III. Just because it's a prequel doesn't mean it's meant to be played or viewed before.

Indeed, yet, it would be quite interesting to play them that way, ending up with Grand Theft Auto 2, how ironic.
