No. It's the special edition version. I don't sell my games at all, either. I still have my R&C trilogy for the PS2 even after I bought the HD version.

Certainly not. I am going to keep it and still play it so I can see the vast differences between the 2 versions, and for the fact that not many of my friends that I play online with will be jumping ship to the PS4.

I see no point in holding onto a beta copy of a game once the full version is released. I had fun testing the limited experience on my PS3, but I'm ready for all the stuff that was cut to accommodate the aging consoles.

You won't get squat for it, so no point in selling it. Plus it's the special edition. :^:

Who told you that you were playing the GTA V beta?

Long ago, people were like "I wish I was playing the BETA version of GTA. They removed a lot of things from the BETA in this FINAL PRODUCT." And now, people are like "Oh! The game feels empty. So, It's the BETA version".

IDIOT.

I already traded in my copy for Xbox 360, I only got like $17 but that's still money that went towards the Xbox One reserve copy. It worked out for me because I have a friend that doesn't really play the game too much and he lent me his 360 copy until it comes out for next-gen.

No because my parents bought me this game and was given to me as a gift. That would be very disrespectful because that was their hard-earned money.

I'll sell my normal copy, but I won't be getting rid of my collector's edition.

No, because I don't have a PS4 and most likely won't buy one for a long time.

Yes, I don't see the point in owning an inferior version that I will never play, even if I will only be getting like $5 for it at Gamestop.

Doubtful it will ever happen, but if Skyrim and Fallout 3/New Vegas ever get ported over to current gen, I will no longer have use for my 360 and will be getting rid of that too.

Gta V is IMO is only getting ported because it came out close to the console gen change, and there is a big demand for it. Plus we won't get a new gta for another 4-5 years, I hope developers don't waste time porting old games, and instead put that funds n effort into making the sequel better.

Over my long tenure of being absorbed by the Grand Theft Auto series, I have preserved every variant of the series that I have ever played. :) I am even still in possession of Xbox Grand Theft Auto Double pack, encompassing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: III. These games are memorabilia and a keepsake, as is Grand Theft Auto: V. As such, it too, will be preserved, albeit transitioning to the new Grand Theft Auto: V. :)

No. I have no intention of buying next gen yet.

Even when I do I may get next gen V. Bit I won't be selling current copy.

No for f*ck's sake, why do people sell games, unless it's an antique game worth a lot, I don't see the point in selling the game months after it's been released, you'll just get a loss.

Yeah no sh*t, but there's no point they'll just end up with a loss.

Just out of curiosity, how many of you will sell your last gen copy of GTA V to go towards the CURRENT GENERATION copy? I'm torn on this decision at the moment because I bought the Collectors Edition. Also, story progression will not be transferable. I don't want a huge amount of GTA V data on my PS3 for nothing. Just let me know what you will be doing. Thanks!

Fixed.

To answer the question, I'll be keeping my 360 Collectors Edition and buying the PS4 & Xbone Versions so in end I'll have three GTA V's. Why not?

Not all of my friends are PC gamers or will end up getting a PS4/Xbox One in the next year or two, so no.

Plus I've sold hundreds of my games last year, and to this day I still regret it since I have only a small stack of games to show for (but over 500 digital games combined on PC/360/PS3).

Im going to keep my CE Edition of GTAV for my PS3, but I'll be right there to get the PS4 version the day it releases. Really, Im just doing it to add to my collection, I own a physical copy of every GTA except GTA Advance, and the London Expansions from the top down era, but I believe those were for PC only and were add ons with no physical copies.

I won't sell my copy. I have it for PS3 so I can play with my girlfriend. My girlfriend isn't a PC gamer, which is the platform I plan to buy for. I'll just be making a new social club so I can play on PC and have the other one just for PS3. I also can't sell because I went digital because there was a deal to get it 40% off during Christmas.

Still one of my best buys ever made.

GTA Advanced was for Gameboy, you could probably pick it up for a Five US Dollars. And the GTA Top down were for PC and Playstation 1.
