OT: why do people even try to defend iPhones? It's pretty clear that flagship Android phones are superior in pretty much every way, and supporting these overpriced feature phones in fancy aluminum casing makes you look like an idiot when it comes to phone technology.
They're expensive and fill a very important role, so the people who buy them are going to try to defend them. That's how brand loyalism usually works. And again, not everyone knows or cares much about the technology behind the phone. IPhones make calls, send texts, are capable of doing anything a normal user would want to do, they have a nice design and interface, and the people buying them can usually afford them and appreciate what they're buying in one way or another.
You're coming at it from a different perspective than the people who bought the phones.
