Even that it is "fun" to watch OneBoxers whine, I honestly don't think that either console should have any exclusives. Timed or permanent.
Personally I just want that my CE stuff is transferred to PS4 as well as my character and I'd be happy.

***** EDIT *****
Well, that does not look nearly as what it was ment to look like. :p
Anyhow, I don't even know what I just tried to say.

But main point is, that I do not want either console to have any exclusive content.

But what about hardware specific stuff? I mean, technically GTA IV and EFLC on PS3 has an exclusive that PC or Xbox 360 versions don't have, Sixaxis controls, yeah they're crap and optional, but they're still only available on that platform.

which links back to my previous idea that the exclusives could be related to the controller, having the in game phone features be controlled by the touchpad and speakers would just be that extra little touch of immersion that can't be offered on PC or Xbox One versions because they lack that specific hardware.

Could also use the touchpad for other things...

Like touching strippers during the private dance mini-game. I think the default action for that is right trigger, at least on 360. Might as well make good use of the touchpad.

I'd buy a PS4 for that.

Word of advice: do not reply to posts that will likely result in platform wars. Report and move on, fellas.

I don't think that PS4 owners be getting anything special as premium single player content/bonus, since the game will be multi-platform release.
GTA:O might have an advantage of getting any exclusives.

That new checkpoint system the mobile versions have would be f*cking fantastic, please. It might actually get me to replay SA more often.

Would be tremendous if they brought out a complete package of all 3 era games with some slight optical polish (the original graphics and models but better looking). It is weird for them to do nothing with the popularity these games still have and just leave them in the past. Especially VCS and LCS need ports to keep them playable in the future. Outdated systems like PSP and PS2 won't keep them alive. If they would do this I'd buy it and play through this complete era again..

I'll cry if they do that. I want Vice Citeh in 1080p. :(

Port it into RAGE and watch the money fly!

Checkpoint system for GTA SA?
I can understand for the mobile versions, but on PC it'll just kill the amazing challenge.

Just how hard is GTA SA to play?
Nothing, IMO.
It's important to maintain some level of the difficulty than making it sort of easy and casual to make things less challenging.
It's more fun to acknowledge the difficulty and play it.

OT:
I'd really want Rockstar to release III, VC, SA, VCS, LCS remastered in HD and RAGE.
It's enough for me playing it for the rest of my life.

SA is "hard" to play because the physics, aiming, etc. are abysmal.

I'd say it'd just be something to do with the touchpad.

Carjacking minigame? Fishing Minigame? Something to do with Navigation?

We'll just have to wait and see

Sorry, but the challenge found in most 3D era GTAs is definitely not "amazing". Good challenge is paying for your own mistakes, not suffering the mistakes of artificial intelligence and malfunctioning mechanics (the latter of which is consistent on PC when the framerate is not capped).

"Fun" is what you make of it. It does not have an exclusive association with challenge when it comes to games, it really shouldn't. I find fun in well-designed, nicely thought out mission structures and objectives. That's not to say challenge isn't fun for me, it's just not fun when it's challenge for all the wrong reasons.

I don't fault anyone for enjoying that kind of challenge, though. GTA has had a history with difficult missions that are a colorful part of its culture, and that's great.
