How are they going to avoid all the hacks?

Will they introduce cash cards for the PC version?

Just wondering.

The same way they did it for the consoles, banning people (Cheat pool) and improving the anti-cheat system. (Was there a anti-cheat system on consoles?)

What did they do about it on PS3 and XBOX 360?

Nothing really. I know a few people that got put into Bad Sport for long periods but that's about it. Any real hacker that you reported Rockstar just send you a generic "we'll look into it" response

GTA Online might be partly accountable for the late release of the PC version. Hackers and cheaters are running wild on the consoles. Now imagine what would happen, if they brought the game to PC before they solve the issues they have now. It would be an even bigger mess than it already is. They can use the time now for some very agressive anti-cheat and anti-hack measures. They need to start with them in the current releases and use them in future next-gen and PC releases from the beginning on. That would be the best course of action and there are still at least three or four months left so...

Since the Story Mode and Online experiences seem to be connected (switching from M, F or T to your GTA Online char via the switching wheel), I do hope that using trainers and such in the Singleplayer does not have a risk of triggering some kind of anti-cheat used for Online. Whether it be automated or not.

Any real hacker wouldn't get caught. But I think you are talking about cheaters and not hackers. BIG difference.

A real hacker doesn't download and use a random easily detectable trainer, but instead makes their own. If many people use the exact same hacking utensils it becomes more and more detectable.

You know how they can fix this? By using steamworks.

Every title that uses this, i hardly see hackers in the game.

I'm confused.

Did you even read last sentence? How is that confusing?
Hacker is someone who hack software, hardware, etc. and actually make hack or cheat software and not somebody that just "copy & paste" scripts, modified files, etc.
And cheater is someone that cheats in game againts other players.

Steamworks based games aren't always using Vac, but it would be a welcome change to GTA V.

You are confused, people doing what you describe are cheaters, they aren't hackers.

Damn, you must get confused a lot. Have to see you when you found about Reptilians. That should be something to see

Basically what confused is YOU. Instead using word "cheats", you used "hacks" and you got confused. GG.

I assumed PC wouldn't have the full GTA Online because of this, I thought it would have GTA 4 multiplayer.  But I guess it will have the full GTA Online, so i'm not sure.

What they might do is re-introduce a file-check system that happens once Online is loaded. The game checks the consistency of the files to see if anything has been tampered with and any changes detected will boot the player back into single-player.

However, this received a massive backlash from the community when it was introduced in GTA IV's PC Multiplayer and it became redundant when I believe Alexander Blade created a File-check fix that prevented the file-check system from even occurring. Rockstar removed it once this fix was released and separated the lobbies from the hacked and non-hacked and notified the players what mods where being used on the server list.

Will be really hard to detect if the so and so modder keeps there work to themselves  i know for sure that it will be alot more easy being you can just edit most of game files already with pc for example gta 4

*Facepalm*

Payday 2 doesn't have it. What makes you think this will be a different case? The best they can do is insert a file consistency check.
