I've got: i5 4670k OCed to 4.5 GHz, GTX 770 2GB, 8GB of 1600mhz DDR3 ram, 256 GB SSD drive. GTA IV ( DVD edition) was runing super smooth (55-80 FPS most of the time). I bought STEAM version of EFLC. And I have big problems with FPS. The more I play the lower FPS gets. It sometimes drop even under 40FPS. Most of the time its 45-60 FPS. It runs much worse than GTA IV. Also I have noticed that objects pop ups even on distance draw and details set at 100. Any tips how to make EFLC to run better?

It might come from Steam since your original IV works well. By the way, what patch are you using for IV? Steam forces the latest patches on EFLC and they consume more resources due to the better quality of the shadows. You can try to lower a little the shadow quality or the reflection quality.

eflc requires more math computations because the colors are more vivid (more data to crunch). i have had to adjust gta iv settings everytime for eflc. tlad runs better than gta iv, because its more drab and dark, this is why i came up with this theory. gta iv engine is full of bloat, that's why people bashed rockstar for saying gta iv was coded for future machines
