As for "fixes" here are more:

Railway sounds by Link/2012 (fixes because cars generally wont pass the railway while the train is coming)
Dual brassknuckles (not really a mod, but for me its a "fix" because by default cj inflicts the additional damage even using the empty hand)
(There are some concerning cars, planes, boats.., but i wont bother finding the links now)

Great topic.

Add Widescreen HOR+ Support by Wesser along with ThirteenAG's WS fix. It's better but have a horrible name for remembering/searching.

I forgot some:

The birds update (By LINK/2012 and Junior_Djjr)(makes the birds killable and lets change where they spawn so you dont see how they pass through buildings)

Traffic fix (not sure if a fix, i think maybe R* did this intentionally)

Added all except:
-Hi-res hud icons (there are icons from mobile on the list already)

- Groove st. beta barber shop (It's not a fix really, just an repleacment and I don;t know if anyone wants to use it)

Added The Birds Update, but not Traffic fix (I think that traffic on highways can be annoying, but that's the way Rockstar programmed it - this version of the fix can be glitchy though)

Adding first is my mistake yes; i own your decision about the barber shop, but i considered it a fix in the sense that if im not wrong all the barber exteriors in the game have its respective interior: a matter of coherence.

There´s more:

Car turn left/right fix

I wanted to use this but unfortunately the Facial Animations Fix already uses ped.ifp.Anyone knows if there is a way to combine multiple ped.ifp files?

Looks like the only animation that is repleaced in Facial Animation Fix is called "factalk".

I'll try to combine them both :D

Oh... guess this a better place for the subject. No more flooding on Silent's thread.

Anyway, I just posted it there, but I will stick to this thread for now on.

Some map fixes, wrong placed trees

For binary IPL's, download this http://www.sendspace.com/file/s0vnph

For normal IPL's;

Lae.ipl, delete this line - 714, veg_bevtree2, 0, 2118.476563, -1369.59375, 22.5078125, 0, 0, -0.7398733497, 0.6727461815, -1

Law.ipl, detele those lines:

729, tree_hipoly07, 0, 878.0234375, -1686.8125, 11.453125, 0, 0, 0.121869348, 0.9925461411, -1

Some peds have the better facial animation, like Grove Street gang members, but others like that guy in the orange "12" hoody don't.

EDIT: cc3d40331936794.jpg

EDIT 2: The steering animation seems to be the default one too b4bf38331938446.jpg :monocle:

EDIT 3 :colgate: : Just tested it in a different car (the Broadway) and it has the better steering animation. Do different cars have different steering animations? The first car I tested was the Hotring Racer btw

Hmm I tried in a highjacked taxi and steering worked well :/
Do separate mods work well?

As of face animation - the creator writes in his readme, that some models can't work well with his fix (maybe the orange guy is one of them).

Can you try to play just with turning animation and then tell me if every cars is working with it?

Ps. Hotring Racer? PDNEJOH? :D

Hmm I guess I'll delete this mods.
Some are unfinished and some are from the furthest pages of internet and they're not tested by many.
I like to have a mod that is "complete" if you know what I mean ;)

And MaziusC if your post is last on the page - it is better to edit it and add new stuff there before making another post :)
New Great Effects isn't really what we're looking for I think. Besides it can fix some bug but it adds a bunch of new stuff which is not good for everyone.

I did that before, but thinking it raw it has the risk of being ignored (correct me if im wrong, im not so experienced here); but as its your topic and you are saying it, i will do that way.

The New Great Effects 1.6 mod fixes a San Fierro bug with traffic lights.

I'll try not to overlook added things and as I said, it's better to post here a "fully working and tested" fixes/addons.

Yeah of course its better. Indeed i have not tested a lot of the mods i posted. Im busy now but i will test them with modloader as soon as i can, if i can. I think its not a good idea deleting them because: firstly you have explicitly stated that you have not tested them; secondly i posted them to encourage people to test them instead of me so it will be faster in both senses (mainly i have not chosen them randomly but based on their opinions/votes). Also, i am not against deleting the "incomplete" ones like you say because thats very personal. My perspective is that comparing them to the game as a whole (its incomplete in a lot of aspects), its not that relevant.

Of course if the game crashes sensitively then delete them.

Anyway i wont post more "fixes" because i dont have more in the compilation i made at once and tried to test with TTDISA. I could post "improvements", but of these there are more to choose and they arent generally as relevant as game "fixes", so i wont post them without having tested them.

I just have to rebalance whole topic and keep working and "good" mods in.

One more thing

Open countrys.ipl and replace the following line

784, lod_redwoodgrp, 0, -2036.625, -1883.867188, 49.171875, -0.06824705005, -0.08498904109, -0.3804033399, 0.918374896, -1

for this

784, lod_redwoodgrp, 0, -2036.625, -1883.867188, 49.171875, 0, 0, -0.3804033399, 0.918374896, -1

It will correct a wrong placed lod.

If anyone finds a map problem of this nature, please let me me know.

These small fixes can be very helpful.
I've got a question to you - since you can edit some map postitioning - do you think, that whole PS2 LV Map data is valid on PC or does it require some editing or even rework?
