What if you get killed by visitors?

well, that's a whole new story

Let me rephrase - long as I don't get shot.

I lived in Cairns, Queensland for a year & a half now and nope I don't like living here & here's why.

Mad Drivers & Traffic
f*ckface Housing Commission Tenants
Crappy Restaurants
Crap Healthcare
Lack Of Employment

Yes I agree it is a nice place to visit because there's the Great Barrier Reef, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway & so much more but don't visit in January because it's boiling hot at that time of the year. It's just a completely different story when you live there and you will be hit with these issues.

^That's a pretty awesome back yard for what looks like a suburb. I also like where the garage is, I'm one who likes my privacy so If I were to live in a suburb I'd much rather have my garage around back like that rather than facing the road.

Yeah, having a garage in the back is definitely better, since you have also the big yard to work on the car or clean it.. In our case we have two garages one big garage for two cars in the back, which is is in the southern most building in the picture and one older garage on the left of the picture just below our house, facing the street. But we are not using it as a car garage, especially because it is too small for modern big cars. You could drive in there but won't get your doors open proberly. That's how garages in former East Germany were often build, because there were no big cars like we have today.

Below the southern most building seen on the picture is our terrace. The muddy looking area in the middle is our garden with a small greenhouse. And below where so many trees are, we have a garden shed. It is the area that looks black on the photo between the trees. On the southern edge of the picture there is a small boat bridge.

I live in Chennai, India.

I despise where I live. The place is nice enough, but the majority of people... Ugh.

I really want to be out of here soon.

Lack Of Employment

Welcome to Australia.

As for me I like where I live. I'm not much for the hustle and bustle of city life. I'm a country boy through and through.

Yes and no. Yes, I like the countryside feel. No, I don't like the infestation of low-intelligence rednecks around here. That's how I feel about where I live. Well, I also dislike the fact that nobody takes you seriously if you're intelligent, like me, but instead believe you'll only make it in life if you're becoming a farmer. No! That's not how it works, people.

Hell no, it's boring as sin here. However, I absolutely loved my hometown, which was Rancho Palos Verdes.

Gorgeous views, pleasant weather, being a Sunday drive away from LA, all of it was great.

Manchester-New-Hampshire-1_photo.jpg

Manchester, New Hampshire

Looks nice from the photo eh? It's alright tbh. I like the idea of bigger city's but I really enjoy how quiet it can get here at night. About 20 minutes up the road you're in goffstown and all the sudden you're out of the city and into the deep woods pretty much. It's relaxing at least. It's still stuck in time though, they've done a lot of renovating but you can obviously tell this place is old. So many Mills still being refurbished into houses/business's ect. Downtown is a collection of like 3 skyscrapers that aren't that big and barley any actual suburbs. You're lucky to find actual houses in the amounts of apartment buildings that are here. And just north of this photo is basically the ghetto of the city. Pretty dirty and ugly up there, but we have quite a low crime rate, so that's good. We got super hot Summers, beautiful Autumn's & Springs, and snow up to your window sill in the winter.

So it's not that bad I guess, it just depends where you are. West side (the opposite way this photo is) is the nicer side tbh, but it's not Downtown.

It really seems like everyone lives on auto-pilot here compared to the rest of the world. The fact they all speak Spanish doesn't help either.

I don't know if I like it here,California seems like a better place to be, seems fun.

I don't mind where I live, although lately it seems like my city is getting more scummy. I have lived here for 24 years though so I guess it will do.

My home town is boring.  There's nothing for young people to do.  It'll erode your spirit.  I deeply regret spending my twenties here.
