Was sitting on the middle of the edge of my bed playing GTA V, I feel a tickle on my bicep on the inside (the part touching my side) and I look down to itch, a spider the size of at least 4 quarters arranged in a square was on it, I smack the little f*cker and jump up yelling "SHOAHAHAH f*ck" like a school girl to the left of my bed, I feel a crawl on my back so I smack that yelling "LITTLE sh*t" then launch across my room to stand on the top of my office chair, after about 10 seconds of scanning le bed and floor I launch halfway across the room to the edge of my bed then out the door screaming for my girlfriend to come help me find the little bastard, much to my dismay we can't find it or any sign it died when I hit it (once or possibly twice, not sure if the back thing was just a plain itch that I freaked out about in the height of the situation) so I put away the shirts and pants on my bed from laundry day just to make sure its not on my bed,I sh*t you not, as I go to grab the hangers inside the shirts to lift them and put them in my closet, I feel a tickle on my leg, look down, you bet your ass the little bastard is on my leg, so I smack him off fast being scared sh*tless and go "YOU LITTLE f*ckER IM DONE WITH YOU" jump over him, grab my shoe launching it at him as hard as I can (pretty nice audible smack as it hit the floor) and I pick it up and fully look at him, still can't figure what he was though. But now of course I'm most likely going to sleep on the couch rather then my room, every little itch makes me nervous now too. GEE THANKS BUGS.

TL;DR : Huge,Ass-hole spider f*cks with me until I finally kill him.

bahaha I had a similar thing happen to me a few months back.

I had just got GTA V and I was immersed as hell in the game, obviously. And after a while I started feeling this itch on my arm, but I decided to ignore it because I needed to focus on a mission. A couple minutes later I felt this 'itch' begin to move up my arm, so I looked down and holy sh*t there was a f*cking roach crawling on me!

I did pretty well in not freaking out though, as much as I hate those f*cking things. So I smacked it off me, I think I got it but I never did find the body. lol

I like spiders when they f*ck off and do their own thing in the corner of a Room, But when they start crawlin on me and sh*t, I hate them.

But over the Years, I have had many "pet" Spiders, "pets" in the sense I'd allow them to live there as along as they ate the asshole flies and Mosquitoes, So they did and I didn't bother them.

They're even more adorable when they wear water droplets as hats.

Hate spiders. Really, really do. Not sure why I opened this thread though, knowing what some of the responses would be..

Awwww... he's like "Helloooo, look what I made!" I Australian, so I'm used to seeing the big buggers, but you do get used to them, and know which ones are the poisonous ones and those that are harmless. Those big Huntsmen spiders aren't poisonous but they'll still give you a nasty bite it you provoke them or bump into one without realising. They like to come into the house occasionally but they are a catch and release job, quick little fellas though... poisonous ones like Redbacks and stuff usually stick to the shed or the garden but the odd white tail ventures inside sometimes, they are killed on sight.

Spiders, Scorpions, Cockroaches and mainly crawly insects are literally the bane of my existence.

The only spiders that absolutely freak me out are these guys:

Banana+Spider.jpg

Most other spiders don't bother me that much. The small ones at least.

FOB interiors were bullet-riddled all over the place and probably due to the camel spider.

Though I've never been particularly scared of spiders.. but anything that f*cking size, even if it resembles a f*cking spider, I'm in gungho mode but if I find a wolf spider or any other type in my home, I normally get them with a paper towel and let them outside.

I'm more petrified of snakes, I was bitten by a cottonmouth when I was 9yrs old. I'll kill them if I see them, the poisonous ones atleast.. king snakes, garter snakes and rat snakes don't much bother me.. but the poisonous ones are usually bad around this time of year too, especially the copperheads. I've killed 3 so far this month.. motherf*ckers. I've bought acouple containers of SnakeAway and I've yet to see one since I spread it around the borders of the yard. Hope it keeps them out for awhile.

Anyways, back to spiders. I remember when I was younger, I would run through the woods and sh*t with no care in the world to spiders, snakes or anything, guess because we were young.. but now when I'm in the woods, I'm more cautious or I find myself running through webs of these motherf*ckers:

Banana spiders.. but it's funny, because it's like almost everyone knows kung-fu when they walk into any sort of spider web. I also have weird feelings for those little crab spiders too.. they look mean as sh*t and they're so small.

Spiders are some of the more useful bugs on the planet. Don't kill them. Kill dirty flies, kill daddy-long-legs, kill mosquitoes... just don't kill spiders. They actually do a lot to keep your home clean.

Probably more than you do.

You ask people not to kill spiders, but then instruct them to kill a type of spider. Not only that, arguably the most beneficial spider and thus the one you don't want to kill.

Can it actually be that worse than finding a lizard atop of your nose?
