or do you not care about trophies/achievements at all? i like the feel of completionistness. but only go for hard platinums. no fillers... but i admit i bought some singer player-only games just to platinum them. always liked the challenge in single player stuff. plus i like how they prove you did a certain thing. back then you would beat Contra or whatever but you couldn't prove it to anyone...

That game currently is Watch Dogs.

Nope, what's the point? Its for gamers that don't know what to do after they beat the game.

No, I'm not, but my neighbour is and a hardcore one at that.

Finishes games ten times or more to complete certain hidden achievements, I would totally quit after the first (two if it's really good) times.

I don't see the appeal in it, unless it also gives you a hidden level or something or ability, but even then I'd be like... mmm, no thanks.

Love getting achievements. Adds a little more fun to the game. My gamerscore is 13,100. I was pretty sh*t at gaming when in first got my 360. I was 11 so games I got back then I have like 5 or 6 achievements. :p

I don't really make it to the full 1000 in games though because I'll get tired of the game, I rented it or because they require time I don't have. Like finding all 400 Riddler secrets in Arkham City. (I think its 400)

I try to get as many achievements as I can.

There's also sites that center around getting Achievements and trophys, which I also use for gaming news.

Are you really like that or are your opinionated statements just ironic? Not sure if you are joking or not.

I like achievements in my xbox360.

-They give more incentive to play without cheats (cheating disables achievements in many games)

It's just fun how, when you have played for long, some achievement pops up on screen, telling you have just reached a milestone!

Also, when you browse the achevements of your old games, you can better remember what sort of games they were.

Also, by looking at achievements screen, you can often tell how many chapters the game still has left for you to play (useful in shootemups)

This. Kind of just answered his own question, without his knowledge of doing so. :p

Somewhat, I mean if I can get over 70% of the achievements then I feel I played the game to its fullest.

I'm not really a completionist, so I have few games that are 100%. I do occasionally go out of my to get achievements, but only if I deem them worth my time (as in, will I enjoy going for it) or if it doesn't force me to depart to far from my own play style.

I have 45183 gamerscore as of right now, but most of that will have come from just playing my own way.

Europa Universalis 4 has been somewhat of an exception to the rule for me though.

It really depends on the type of game. In saying that I don't like online achievements/trophies.

I have to admit getting an achievement/trophy for something I wasn't even aware of is kind of cool.

The game itself has a lot to do with that. Sure, an achievement might require you to collect 200 of this and that, which can be fun, or frustrating. I go for them when the achievements are well-designed around the game.

No, but if a trophy is easy and I can do it whille I'm playing normally I'll try to do it. My only platinum is inFAMOUS: Second Son, easy as f*ck.

If the trophies and achievements came from online games, I don't care. I would rather care to display my trophies and achievements I've earned from real-life sports and games.

I like to get some achievements, but I wouldn't call myself hunter. If there is some easy one or one that needs me to do something I may enjoy I will probably get it, but I am not buying weak games just to score some points and I am not going after the most hardest one just to increase my points counter.

When I finish the game's story, I like to go for achievements that I know that I can get.

Seemed like the only achievements I had to have was on COD Zombies for some reason. The easer eggs in particular. In the zombie player community it made you elite.

No. If I get them - okay. If not - okay too. Don't really care. Usually get them by accident.

I don't care about achievements, I only have 3 games where I've got more the 50% of the trophies, some of them probably disabled achievements because I like to use cheats.

Nah not really. I got my Xbox Live Account in 2008, and I only have 10,000 gamerscore. I plan on doing it more though with games that I really like, like GTA V and Watch Dogs.

I try to as much as possible, but mainly due to the fact it adds more to the game IMO. Not one of these who plays a game from A to B in the quickest time possible etc, so anything that adds a little exploration/side mission to the game is welcome to me.

Only thing that annoys me is that online and offline achievements should have been separated...
