What would you do?

I'd spend money renting sports cars and taking them on track days. Maybe drive a Lamborghini through town with tinted windows. So people can wonder whose in the car. I'd feel a boss. Also I'm not naturally showy.

Buy a small house somewhere quiet. Not a mansion it's not the size that counts but the amount of love in the corners.

Live on interest at the bank.

Rent a yacht and have a party. Polish Eastern European girls are allowed in for free since I get along with most if them. $5 surcharge which goes to charitable causes.

And a bunch of other stuff.

Buy tickets to fancy dos of the uppity elite in Hollywood just to take up space and get in people's way not cos I want to be there.

Investing in stocks is too risky for me might pass on that.

Man that's all I could come up with! I need to think harder.

I'd just live on interest at the bank, buy a Ford Raptor and just roam around everyday.

Buy a Nissan GTR R35 (2012) as my car. Tune it up heavily.

Give $250,000-500,000 to charity.

Buy a 5 bedroom house, with a big garage, has a games room and swimming pool.

Can't think of anything else :colgate:

Realistically speaking, I would probably pick up a drug habit.

First of all a big house with a big garage.
Then a C/E/GL 63 AMG (i seriouslly would buy all 3 of them) and a Lambo Aventador. Later also a Ferrari Italia 458.

And ofcoure going out everynight to the most expensive club. Also do not forget if you have money you can date every f*cking girl you want.

Pff i wish i was rich :)!!!!

Retire to a modest house in a modest neighborhood (with a monster in the garage) Then put the rest in dividend yielding stocks.

Most people blow away their money, just look at lottery winners.

I'd prolly drop a good 600k to a million right away on some property, very secluded, my dream truck or car then build a decent home, not a massive mansion but a nice size home that I'm comfortable in, most notably a log cabin. Drop another good chunk to the Wounded Warriors then the rest would go in the bank, I may even invest in some stuff but not get carried away. You have to think.. a million dollars today isn't what it was 10yrs ago, hell, 5yrs ago.

I would spend most of it traveling around the world. I would save a million to pay my children one of the best universities. I also would invest a part in the market and buy companies in order to get even more money.

I would also change my look:

Honestly, I would buy a house in Los Angeles and a car too, i'm thinking Aston Rapide or Maserati Quattroporte because 4 doors, y'know?

Then, I would probably go on 'Millionaire Matchmaker'. I'd be amazed if anyone here watches that.

Of course, would buy games, and a high end gaming PC, and would spend lots on Mcdonalds and KFC, when I say lots, I mean just meals for a day lol.

Would contact scubadave and give him £/$/Whatever his lordship required of me (to a certain extent of course)

Move out to a nice place in the country and live there. That's over $100,000 a year for the rest of my life. I could just stop worrying about money forever. :)

First thing would be to go on a nice vacation, haven't been on one in ages. After that, I would buy a better car, maybe get my own place, and also buy the rest of the video games I want but cannot afford. Whatever is left over I would just put into a bank account and save it for emergencies.

I'd move to Canada or maybe the U.S., buy a house nothing too big and a nice car, nothing flashy, Maybe a Audi or BMW. Then put the rest away for safekeeping.

$10,000,000 is a nice amount of money. Here's what I'd do:

  • Buy my parents and sisters houses.
  • Buy myself a modest house in New Hampshire.
  • Pay for college/university tuition.
  • Keep 1/5th of the left-over money in the bank.
  • Invest the rest in securities.

Probably save it in the bank and let it grow interest. I'd probably buy a nice house and a Porsche, but other than that I'm keeping my money.

Really? Porsche? $10 million and you buy a Porsche..... I'm in disbelief...... It's a car for someone who has money (and IMO, no taste) but can't afford a proper supercar, such as a Ferrari or a Lamborghini

First is charity for me, then make my parents happy.
After that, make myself happy with fastest internet connection, play games, college and invest on something :)

I hope this dream can become true

Live on interest at the bank.

That's really not a great way to make money. Interest at the bank will only keep your purchasing power about even over the years, it just offsets inflation.

It doesn't even offset inflation completely in many cases, your money will still be eaten up at 2-3% per year which is basically 2-3 hundred thousand dollars in the bin every year, in 20 years most of your fortune is gone without including spending.

Better idea is to put most of it into mutual funds and if you feel like some risk diversify it into other stocks while keeping some for living expenses.
That way you'll best inflation, earn some money and have a productive thing to do while deciding on stocks and watching markets ect.

Buy a huge piece of land, build a regular sized house but build a giant wood working shop and a separate giant mechanics shop.
Make fine furniture and restore cars/build extreme 4x4's. I'm very much a DIY guy.

I know, I'll donate it all to a charity! Sure, only about 5% of my money will actually go to helping the cause while the rest will go into some corporation's pocket, but it will still make me such a good person!
