I don't see what you're saying OP. I guess it's a case of driving skill/understanding. I expect a bit of spin here and there but it's always controllable. I've driven much worse cars. The sports class is full of them but the Elergy, I thought, was one of the easiest to use.
I have a Comet too. Not for racing, it's just a fun car tbh.
I know what he means - The Elegy doesn't spin easily but when it does it's very difficult to pull out of, unlike say the Carbonizzare which has a lot of oversteer but is completely controllable. The Comet is probably about halfway between the two. Cars which oversteer a lot tend to be controllable with a little caution in the bends, those which grip a lot and understeer are more likely to snap into oversteer and spin at the limit of their grip.
Pretty much this. When the Elegy starts to break away from you, you're usually introducing yourself to a wall backwards shortly thereafter.
I say it again, unmod your suspension, it makes the cars a lot easier to handle, albeit slightly less sharp in the steering.
