Thanks! Yeah i thought it looked like a nice spot for a picture when i came across it during a run. Had to get a little wet for that angle tho ;)

Let's see some of those rides people. I just copied and pasted it from Social club so it only takes a minute to partake.

I'd say have a look at the pimp my whip pinned thread, post the picture there, there'll bound to be people there to notice it and send their own pics. ;)

I love off-roaders. I have a few. I'll have to get some pictures in some nice locations.
That BJ looks great and the landscape is amazing.

Thats a sick pic dude, I love the beejay only reason I dont use it is because of its limited ground clearance. I love the rancher and rebel.

Thanks fella.

Yeah the BJ has a pretty low attack level when it comes to inclines (Like 90% of vehicles in this game) but i promise you once you get the front tires pointed up it climbs like a scared cat. Good 4X4 system F60/R40 split.

I also have a clean rebel (Baja Bars version). Great rock crawler but has traction issues on really steep hills. I'll post a pic in here soon.

@Socal: Nice rigs!

Took this one a while ago, but haven't done much off-roading lately.

You've got me in the mood to find some nice new spots, & I'll make sure my car is clean next time.

So that BJ is pretty good huh? I'll have to try it out.

I have pretty much refused to drive it up to this point.

Sandking is great though, I have essentially made it Trevor's default vehicle. Too bad the patch reverted it back to 2wd. They can't fix that soon enough.

Agreed about the Sandking, it's trash now.

About the BJ, i like it mostly because it's unique while being capable at the same time. It's only weakness is the initial contact angle, but there are only a handful of vehicles that have lift kits and the majority of them have garbage 4x4 systems anyways. Messa is a F10/R90, Rebel is a F30/R70 if i recall but has bad traction in general, Sandking is 2wd now until/if they fix it...  They look at home offroad for sure but they have limitations as well. They are basically "momentum" vehicles on any steep terrain, coming to a stop means turn around and take another run pretty much. Whats more important to you is the question, i'll take a strong drivetrain over lifted suspension in "most" cases but there are times when i wish i had my Rebel and vice versa.

Spent 70k upgrading a Dubsta and forgot to put insurance on it last night, naturally it ended up at the bottom of a river :panic: .. oh well. Didn't care for it much anyways

P.S: Sorry for the story book..... PICTURES! :)

Although you probably can't see it in this shot, it has a hot pink pearlescent finish over a cream metallic paint job.. Not that you'd be too interested.. ;-)

So what's the best non-lifted truck/SUV for offroading in your opinions? Excluding the Dubsta as i don't really care for it.

Looking to do some tryouts

Those wheels... wow. Not what I would call offroad friendly.

They're about as offroad friendly has the side fuel tanks. Good for making it look like a prime mover, not good for offroading.

People saying recent update made the LWB sandking 2wd?

f*ck that, I havn't driven mine since the patch but that's sh*t.

Ill be looking at a new regular offroader now.

Aiming for a lil respect-recovery.. How's this, then?? ;-)

And yep, when I modded and tested the Sandking above, it was defo RWD, not 4x4..

One can never go wrong with the MW Messa. What colours did you use? I'll have to bite the bullet and get one via save editing as I can't find a way to get this post The wrap up / Meltdown.

Primary Colour: Metallic > Racing Blue

Primary Colour: Pearlescent > Cream

Secondary Colour: Metals > Brushed Steel

Wheel Type: Offroad > Raider

Wheel Colour: Frost White

Also, the photo was taken with the third or fourth Snapmatic filter during the early morning sunshine..

Hope that helps..

So what's the deal with the Rancher XL?

I picked one up awhile ago and was underwhelmed with it in stock form so i couldn't justify putting money into it. How does it compare to the other SUV's?

It's only good for the prologue.

It's not worth.
