1. You glitched your money
2. You have no imagination and require everything to be spoon fed
3. You need a job as playing gta 5 24/7 left u burnt out
4. You need to RACE. Strive to get better each day. Time trials, try to one on one 50 people and not lose one race.

You CAN'T have IMAGINATION on gta online/V r* does that for you which sucks.

Stop glitching and you will have fun.

I never glitch. Just remembering how hackers spawned me into the prison yard on GTA 4, then spawned everyone else in who then tried to run me over. Saw some motorised 4-poster beds once lol. I just wish vehicles like the blimp was available online then you could parachute onto one being piloted and have some fisticuffs for the hell of it.

Stop grinding then?

The main problem is that thanks to the DNS hacks and glitches everybody has everything, and nothing left to work for. I only get to play for a few hours a week due to this thing you have to do called work and real life. So I am only level 76, I have 2.5 Mil in the bank (Yes I brought a cash card to get the stuff from the valentines DLC as I was given MS points for xmas). I brought my apartment with the stimulus money from R* and I only have 9 cars, and I am still very happy, my partner recently bought another xbox so that we can play online together. So now we can do things online with just the two of us, as it is very difficult to get online fully as we have a very bad net connection.

While the connection sucks, the good thing is you have a RELIABLE buddy with whom you can play COLLABORATIVELY with in your Invite Only sessions.  Which means FM can now take on a whole new dimension since you've got 1 other player who is willing to work with you on a team and not stab you in the back for cheap K/D fix.

If you ever find time to get online together, consider doing all of Lester and Madrazzo mission on extra hard difficulty. Use teamwork and try to beat as much as you can doing all of these with zero mission failure in say, the span of 1 real hour.

Also try doing a winning streak beating as many survival missions in a row up to wave 10.  I did this during that week we had the double RP bonus payouts with a friend.  Racked up some $360k+ randomly picking survivals at the voting screen over 2 hrs real time. Had a lot of fun trying different tactics and cover scenarios. Try to beat both the Maze Bank and Industrial plant ones in under 30 mins real time.  Both of these survival maps are a bit more challenging since they don't have many good cover spots.

Bet each other doing stunt jumps off buildings like the Maze Bank etc. Race each other to a pre-destined point on the ground.

Better yet, do what I did a while back: a mini survival marathon.  Do 1 leg racing cars/land vehicles, 1 leg swimming, 1 leg flying, 1 leg parachuting off a high building, 1 leg biking (motor and/or bicycle), and finally, 1 leg where you hold up a convenience store and run like hell from the 5-0 to the finish line.  Quite naturally, the finish line needs to be in front of a police station somewhere....

Place bets over $80k+ and try to do this with as many friends as possible.  The 1st person to win this mini survival death match in FM wins all the $$$$$ etc. etc.

Now that you can disable catch up and slip stream, you can finally get to do real races where you win on pure driving skill. Do all the off road races and compete against each other in the same vehicle which must be NON MODDED, vanilla vehicles. aka off road racing each other in sanchez bikes, hummers, Sandkings etc. Or any other vehicle available in the race.  Just as long as they're the same vehicle (so neither of your have an advantage) and NO sports or supers. Next bet each other before the race like $50k - $100k+ (if you can each afford it). Now set the racing conditions to this:  weather to rainy, slipstream and catch up OFF, warnings and traffic ON. Then winner takes all.

Finally---since the bloody heist feature isn't apparently coming out until 2050 AD---both of you could work as a team to see how long you can maintain a 5 star level on a crime spree for 20 mins real time without dying or being arrested. Feel free to use any aircraft, watercraft, bicycles etc. i.e. basically all of the other vehicles ppl are so oblivious to while they're obsessively racing their supers around in FM.  Doing this should be more interesting with that the new aggro hi profile feature is out come to think of it.  And drive the police AI bat sh*t crazy in the process

Respect to all who replied on a serious tip. To those who talk slick behind a keyboard I understand yall need to be seen cause otherwise no one will pay attention to yall or your thoughts... Lol

But on a serious note I have very little time to actually sit and play during my weeks and I find it kinda frustrating that the game play is so repetitive and I have not been playing as much as others. I think there needs to be more to work for outside of missions and rp.

It's boring because you keep playing it for hours every goddamn day and pretty much have achieved a lot through legit or illegit way. It's normal.

Leave the game alone and do your other hobby.

It's boring because nothing you do matters or has any purpose. Thus it feels like your never going anywhere in the game.

Sure I can buy a new car in highlife but what can I do with that car I couldnt do in my sentinel or sultan. The answer is nothing.

Its the same with jobs. Do the jobs I do today help me tomorrow. And again the answer is no. There's very little purpose to gta online and for me that's why it's boring.

Even with heists. Is anything I do in the game at the minute having any effect on ny ability to do heists if and when they ever get released. Or the same with any other content.

There isn't anything in the game I can't get in 10 minutes of thinking I want one of those. And with everything being that quick and instantaneous theres really no sense of reward or satisfaction from obtaining it.

So I'm bored because nothing I the game has any purpise or matters. It's just a circle of grind cash buy car mod car. Grind cash buy car mod car. And round and round. And it really doesnt matter what car you drive other than 2 door or 4door depending.

For me gtao needd purpose and progression. Where the thigs I do today are inpacted by what I did yesterday. And the things I do tomorrow will be determined by what I do today.

I havent played in about 2 months but im no further behind or ahead of anyone who plays every single day. To me that shows how the game never really goes anywhere. Cos eve though I haven't played in 2 months im still atnthe same point everyone else is at.

Sorry if thats long. Thought I would try and say why I fobdnit boring rather than just say yes it is

Well articulated and spot on.  A few examples of "progression" IMO would be features like adding scuba gear so players can go scuba diving and collect treasure, arms/weapons out in the ocean.  Rewarding players who really want to play the game by putting the most valuable items below crushing depth. So players would be forced to use the sub.  Or the ability to fish and collect seafood to eat during a fire fight. Or play Bully style arcade games on the beach pier.  Or get high by visiting smoke on the Water at the beach.  Odds are you're going to have an interesting time trying to survive a fire fight in FM or in a mission when your character is as high as the 2 former Twin Towers pre 911.

Or interact with all that useless gym equipment at the muscle beach area and make your skateboard anorexic character ripped.  So they can physically beat the crud out of PvP gamers who harass and annoy them in a melee fight....

And if you stop working out, you'd lose your muscular build and get weaker strength stats. Just like back in SA.

Basically, all of these activities would let players take some time off from the mindless PvP f*ckfest that FM has devolved into to doing non combat stuff like this. Which besides the sake of RPing, actually build combat skills in strength, lung capacity etc.

Or more practical features like a working BAWSAQ, Heists, and a working casino.  A working stock market would inspire people to speculate because the odds are so great (i.e. getting lucky and winning  thousands to millions in GTA$ withing game hours to game days. But because of the probability of wining is low, players would likely losing more than they bargained for in GTA$. Now that we can buy multiple properties, R* should've set it so that the price of Dynasty real estate shares would fluctuate in BAWSAQ. This would be based on how many people are buying homes.  The more multiple properties players buy, the more Dynasty shares rise. The more players speculate by buying up or selling Dynasty stocks etc. etc.

If the stock market failed for players, then they would need to earn it back doing missions, races, and FM activities.  So the sheer concept of gambling wildly with no limits would be an irresistible feature to stimulate game progression IMO. It would not only provide a source of money, but get players interacting with the map mission and activity markers more.  Same concept with the casino.  If you carelessly gamble away your money in a single gaming session, you're going to be stuck with grinding or busting your rear to make the money back. So if R* wants to increase players in their empty game lobbies,  adding a working casino and BAWSAQ would be the most efficient way to do this. Because it's becomming painfully apparent that R* doesn't plan on adding heists anytime in this century.

Maybe if they littered items and money that randomly generated in every session. The reward is there and it will give you a reason for exploration in gta online.

Just a thought

Makes sense. That's one reason I don't get RP grinders. You're in a hurry to get nowhere. R* really needs to make more free roam activities and you kinda have to make your own fun. It's much better with some friends too.

I feel the same way. Sure I can have fun with friends in freeroam, riding bicycles all over the map or hillclimbing with cars, skydiving, whatever, but it really needs some proper content soon. The great majority of players have played through the content and I've done a lot of creative free-roam with friends in between the updates, so it is getting boring, which is a shame considering how amazing this game is

During my first week or so of playing GTA Online, I was in a random lobby and received a large amount of cash from someone.  I wasn't aware of the glitched money at the time, and thought the dude was being nice.  Anyway, up until R* removed the money, I was living the life GTAO and having fun.  I never worried about money, I'd keep buying armor and ammo without thinking twice.  Since the money was removed, GTAO has become so f*cking boring because I have to spend hours and hours grinding just to get a decent amount.  Ammo?  I rarely buy any now.  Armor?  Not even worth it to just lose it instantly.  That new Zentorno?  I will never get close to that amount in a legit way unless I literally spend several days straight trying to get that money.  I'm sorry if cheating "offends" people, but it's needed, especially when R* makes sh*t too much money.  GTAO is just like real life, it's impossible for the "poor" to get anything good because people make sh*t too expensive.

Just to clarify, I don't cheat, don't even know how, but if I find someone who does, you're damn straight I'm going to ask for money.

I dont think there's a game out there that people won't get bored of, its just that nobody thought this game in all of its glory and hype would be so bland. Games with balance last the longest since there's countless types of strategies to use to defeat opponents in a paper-rock-scissors type of system. This game has very little balance, simply acquire the faster car, best weapon, etc and youre in a position to dominate those that dont have said asset. Having a level system in place that climbs to 8000 when there's nothing left to acquire past 120 is also a mistake, and i haven't even mentioned the awful lobby system that will test your patience if you don't like playing by yourself or 3 other players in a room built for 16 but never fills in a minute except when it does one by one after the friggin clock has run out. Ungghhh!
The only level playing field I've found where the challenge to all players is somewhat equal is deathmatches with pickups only. Every one has the same guns and access to more but then there's the absurd health advantage for players of higher level. I really hope the next Rockstar game is more though out.

Freezing open lobbies, this annoyingly longer loading time for all contact mission startups, RR made longer in terms of spawning where you are in the lobby, all these sh*tty missions where enemies keep spawning so you can't even finish certain missions solo (like the ones where you need to hack the safe, dry dock and stock and share), they just reskinned the new apartments nothing new was added, Massacre is a fusion of GT and carbonizzer with better performance, Thrust looks like a scooter f*cked a chopper, Zentoro might be a saving grace of HL but still is just a fusion of Turismo and Entity with a new skin, too many sports and super in-game, need more muscle, lowriders, sports classics and offroader, not enough to do in sea although the map is like 3/5th ocean. In conclusion, I will be farming a little till I reach a self-decided threshold to prepare for any future DLC content. But after that I'm switching to AC4 and Watchdogs till the release Heists.

I'm pretty sure someone already touched up on this before, but beyond the thrill of playing for the first time what do GTA online need in order for us to keep coming back.

A new city to explore.

I know for sure I will never put down the controller if they release an Off Road DLC with a bunch of off road vehicles, mods, and missions related to that. They got all these soup-up mods for cars but nothing for off roaders except mud tires. Boo

what do GTA online need in order for us to keep coming back.

Nothing. You, and everyone else, will come back anyway. Anyone who says otherwise is a damn liar.
Nah buddy. When I pull the disc out for the last time, I'll know. That time is fast approaching, and not just for me. I've got 700 hours invested in this game, and R* just didn't lay the foundation for a long lasting online community. The progression means nothing, just numbers on a screen.

I have 600+ race wins, a few LSPD tints, 10 or 15 cars I love, a few dedicated race cars, about 8 million in cold hard legit cash, a pile of military hardware that would have made Kim Jong-il jealous and nothing to do with it all.

They saw fit to give us tens of millions of dollars worth of assets to acquire, and the only one that helps us move any further was the Buzzard. How hard would it be to give us a high ranking mission where one player needs a jet? Or even a friggin jet boat.

Its like one hand at R* is trying to plant a seed and the other hand is trying to suck the earth dry around it.

As Luap said on Page 1 I think, the only interaction that can take place between players in Freemode is murder. Which, of course, costs money.

For chrissakes, they put a purchasable tank in the game, who's only counter is ANOTHER tank, or a 5+ minute journey to Zancudo. Then they have the audacity to remove the tankers responsibility to pay insurance, and leave it like that for 6+ months?

And we all waddle around like your sister who just lost her Vcard, saying Blessed be R*, for they have given us ten more garage spaces, along with another ugly super and half a new sports car. Like the whole thing wasn't a simple money grab to them all along.

The people who build the content for this game, the people who laid the foundation, or the framework, of what GTA:O would be, and the shot callers who say yes and no to mission payout buffs, race verifications, and the release of content, are all on different wavelengths. Hell, they must speak different languages.

They sure as sh*t aren't saying anything that makes sense to me.
