Which GTA you wish to see as a movie?

The vice city movie would be a slightly altered version of Scarface
Vice city is my favorite GTA game ever, but if it were to be made a movie, I can only see it come off as a cheap feeling Scarface. Not sure it could translate well to to film adaption and be anything else

Interesting topic!-long post that needs paragraphs but a good read on why a GTA movie would never work due to player actions-
By player actions do you mean the way a player can do a mission such as the car driving, how he's driving, weapon used, which location he arrives from and how he interacts with his enemies (such as toying with them, etc.)? I don't remember GTA IV having many choices apart from the final mission (spoiler from a 2008 game so it's not a spoiler) where you pick A or B, killing that russian guy on the boat or going after that mafia boss (my favorite game ever and I forgot the names!).
I said in my post that if a GTA movie was made the film should focus on one part of any GTA game. GTA has so many missions that it gives it its "moments" such as GTA SA having the beginning: the ghetto, moving up to street racing and mafia stuff and then casino heist and army-based things. GTA SA would be perfect for a movie as you could start the movie in the ghetto, make a big problem that somehow leads to the army and then the climax of the movie would be an epic air fight where CJ is in a military plane and is being shot by army jets. On a smaller but darker scale, GTA IV could be an immigrant with his past catching up to him, killing a guy, getting in trouble with a mafia family and kill said family godfather.
I'm forgetting the word, I think it's creative freedom, but a director or writer could alternate the events of a story. Sure, some stuff needs to be cut as who the hell wants to watch a 30-hour film but you could pick a whole lot of missions and sum them up in a moment, exchanging 15 missions for one mission that would last 10 minutes in the movie. Also, there's many videogame cutscenes that are made into "movies" on Youtube that last around an hour or two and cutscene movies hold up nicely. It's basically people taking the cutscenes and making them play one after the other. I'm not sure if GTA IV had one but that could be a good example of how it could be as a movie.

ONLY as long as it's a good movie. Films are all about execution of story. The action and acting can make it worse or bad. GTA IV and its episodes were much more mature than GTA V and I think the story was more serious and it took itself more seriously. I liked Niko's story more because it felt longer and it was more centered and focused. The episodes were really good too.

Gta San Andreas. Imagine seeing it, with the Casino Heist, the Mission where Carl destroys the Andromada, it would be epic.

None movies made about games normally turn out bad but IF by slight chance it was actually done right i would like to see GTA 4 lost and damned done properly i think it could be good and i thought tlad was waay too short it made me wish gta 4 was tlad and nico was the side story, i dont know maybe it is just me but i like the whole gang mentality thing, not doing everything by yourself that is why i loved san andreas recruiting people to follow you etc.
I felt johnny K was much more deserving and interesting character to play as and i felt so sh*tty with what they did to him in 5 and i barely like trevor he has his moments but i dont get why everyone is scared to me his craziness is transparent and any man dies the same with a bullet.
Iv not seen many motorbike gang related movies im sure they are out there but i would of liked the lost be explored more then they did everything seemed to move too fast in that dlc i never got the feel for anyone (given it was dlc still a pretty big one). But as most know gta games are loosely already ripping off movies hell playing gta 5 i felt like i was watching a lesser version of HEAT half of the time alot of the heists are similar, and if you havnt seen that movie.. you should.
This is a recent biker thing i have watched small miniseries which now all 6 episodes are on youtube its based off a true story its as close as it came to TLAD
